Cracked my triple tree and realized it when the bars were turned left by 45 degrees while I was going straight ahead at 50 lol Not the ideal way to figure that out dude haha

Put the carb back on after blowing it through with the airline and new bolts in the new manifold took the T piece off the vacuum line as found second line only went to a blanked off fitting on the new China carb. Don't understand why they installed it and the blob off metal and two screws it went to. Could have saved themselves some money unless for aesthetic purposes. Then walked away and left it for another day.

Took the zx50 on a test drive, Will climb our steep hill at 40 until it slows down and leaves the power band, hits the powerband at 40. just might need clutch springs lol, and lighter rollers. but making good power. Thinking about getting a Contessa, or should I get a corsa? I just want a stock crank build though.

Drained the carb on the Vino so she can hibernate for the winter. Although it's supposed to be 80 degrees again this week so I may still get a few more rides in.
On the Vespa I installed a new bench sport seat that will allow me to use a GS style spare holder. Gotta put on the Polini box pipe and run yet another throttle cable (I keep cutting them too short, this is the 3rd try.) Also got a Koso regulator but have no clue how to install that one. Gonna have to research that one.

Took a break from working on home repairs this evening and snuck in a scoot ride. Its starting to get chilly in the evenings around here, and the Blue ZX loves it! Me, not so much

Worked on the Black Zuma most of Saturday and some of Sunday. Hadn't been out and about with it and it needed quite a bit of help. - Seemed like tranny needed some tuning so I swapped out contra spring from yellow to white. And Rollers from 4g to 3x4 and 3x7. Had tried the 7s and that didn't work - the combo seems to work really well - Scoot was running hot so I moved needle up two positions from 2nd of 5 from top to 4th from top. Tried changing main jet from 95 to 105 and it bogged big-time. I don't have a 100 so I went back to 95. Maybe I'll order a 100 jet and get that in for the collection and maybe try it out - Engine was still a bit hot and maybe it's a bit lean but plug doesn't seem to indicate that it's too lean. So, did the fan mod that I posted about in the past. Now runs all day at 40-45mph and high speed of 55mph at a pretty good temp. Next up - more riding and more testing to make sure it's still good. Would be great to have it running well and reliably. Also - planning to get the red scooter tuned up - that one also needs some work

I looked at mine, the throttle cable is real stiff. Must get out lube tool or replace it. Probably just sell scoot.
Maybe just call milly to pick it up.
