The madness has now gone in these strange and colourful times. I saw the Dr. this morning and he told me to take 20 LSD tablets and all would be well 😵💫. After talking to a motorbike mechanic who specialise in electrics the cost of scooter and work will outweigh any profits in moving it on or very little if the job is not simple. So today I have been cleaning the Lambretta instead ready for the winter coat of ACF50. Surprising how dirty it was but then I doubt if Owen cleaned it while he had it. So now I shall be sticking with the Hyosung Cruise 2 which works and starts fine. Just a few minor things to finish off and get around to the Peugeot Pox 110cc as and when I feel like it and get it running as a winter hack.

Elecktrickery day today, scooter main beam not working and surprisingly 2 other main beams are not working even after changing bulbs and then the car decided not to start. Tomorrow is another day 🤬

I hope you kept the new bulbs and old bulbs for spares and didn't mess them up or break them. What did you do to the car to screw it up in the rain? Do you raise Gremlins for a hobby?

😂 FrankenMech I think I must do. Car took 3 attempts before it started. Could be where I have short arms and deep pockets and only put in the cheap petrol. At least with fuel injection it doesn't need the carb jets cleaning out and blows it through. |

Yesterday evening a chap on Facebook marketplace messaged me to say my MOT ran out a month ago. Oooops. So I thought it was February but that's the insurance. Put a new H/L bulb holder together and got that functional now. Brake light been staying on so sliced a bit of old zip tie and inserted between piston and brake lever. Bit fiddly but didn't have to remove cowling to do it which would be a pain, just the throttle housing and job done all ready for MOT tomorrow afternoon after work 😁   |

You can set up a free MOT reminder on the DVLA website Milly. Thank you for that aeroxbud I shall do that in the morning. Just remembered a indicator bulb needs cleaning due to ingress of water so it works. |

SHHHHHH! then the gubmint would know his email address. One of my email addresses is a .gov.uk all ready for work. So they stay on file for 29 years before deletion. Interesting reading they will make not FrankenMech 😄 |

People fool themselves to think the gubmint can't find out anything they want to know about ordinary citizens IF they were interested. I just find it humorous that they even try to avoid any of the snooping.

I remember in 1979 we had our first phone put in and were ex directory, anyhow 2 days later we had a call from the police to say they had found my tax disc off the car and collect it. I mentioned this to people and the fact we ex directory and some were really freaked out they got hold of our number. |
