My cylinder arrived! Looks nice but could use a bit of work to put more use into the exhaust ports. Mainly in the two extra exhaust ports. I will also gasket match the c16 to the cylinder along with WAIT for the seals and crank bearings to arrive -.-

I had better luck with the single cut carbide burs Brent recommended on the case porting. Haven't done anything on the cylinder. Chipping the hard coating scares me.

Well after a slow delay of waiting for parts and the frustration of having my damn mazda rx8 stolen...heres where I am at so far. Removed the engine, cleaned it, removed the ignition, variator, now waiting for sunlight to take the cases apart and do my work to the carters. Also did I mention 190cc monkey bike I built together as well??? www.youtube.com/watch?v=mEicd-aGMaQ

someone stole your rotary?!? im sorry man. hope you find the bastard and hang em! believe me im beyond pissed. Im hoping to get another but insurance is taking more than enough time to process the claim. There becoming cheaper, but the idea of a three rotor swap seemd like an idea to throw out.

Dude sucks about the rx, I have always been interested in the wankel. Can rev to the moon and are bad ass boosted. What is that cylinder? A Daytona, I haven't ever seen a bolt pattern like that. I assume for different pipes? My next step I think is w/c

X7 can you give some info on your l/c conversion. Radiator used, pump, hoses, mounting etc. maybe some pics?

Nimble and just loves being revved. Very rewarding car when you respect it of course, tail happy in the rain but controlling if not over done.

X7 can you give some info on your l/c conversion. Radiator used, pump, hoses, mounting etc. maybe some pics? The radiator im using is from an 06 cr85. Using a simple 1.1 pressure cap. I was using mechanical water pump but found an electric waterpump that handles the high temp so I swapped out and wired it to the key switch. The hoses are simple rubber lines you would get from AutoZone, the radiator has been mounted behind the front tire with two small brackets to hold the radiator to the zumas main stem. Heres a pic of some carter work. Heres a pic of the radiator in the front fairing panels. short vid of the setup before doing the crank swap, cylinder swap, and c16 exhaust.also running a phbg21 with a velocity stack intake. Hoping it all works well especially the waterpump. I could always install the mechanical one again.
