I have been off the boards for awhile...A bit scared of scooting since the accident. But a bit of irony presented itself this week. My neighbor builds custom motorcycles, as I was passing his house this lady pulls up on a tgb/pierspeed delivery 50cc. The only scoot that I would ride again. Turns out she was going to my neighbor to get some work done on it B4 sale. I ended up the lucky new owner.

And it's a 14" front wheel with a disc brake dual adjustable shock rear 12". Added bonus: 2 stroke. I'm going to have way too much fun on this thing. Jeezuz look at that huge heated trunk! Not driving my minivan to work anymore, this holds my tools just fine:) My last 4 stroke stroked scoot held 60mph all day. I'm sure I can match that and get there faster...103cc anyone?

I'm going to need some help though. 2 stroke is foreign to me..

Nice scoot! I think a 70cc for the Morini motor TGB uses would be more realistic. Maybe you could find a stroker set up, I've haven't heard or seen them but for a daily driver the 70 would IMO be better. Another member found a Hoca 70cc for his TGB and Technigas makes pipes. That with some cvt work should get you 55+mph depending on gearing and weight. Congrats, I'd love to have one myself!

Clean the carb and fuel filter. Check float height.

I want to start by cleaning the carb but, can't figure out how to disconnect the throttle cable from the carb.

Comes out with carb top& slide. Remove screws on lid & it will slide right out.

Nice scoot. I say it everytime I see one, but I think those Delivery TGBs are very cool and wish more were made with storage like that. This is not the exact same carb, but should be similar enough to help with yours. There are other vids in the series showing float height and jets and idle/mix adjustment as well. www.youtube.com/watch?v=KXxxJrA5hNY

So my neighbor and I tore the carb apart. It is clear as can be. Still having the same problem though.

Try checking the plug and spark.
