If you turn the carb upside down it should be parallel with the base. There is more on this in the tech library under carb tuning and adjustment.

Well its definitely float adj. But you can't adj this float. There is no metal tab to bend. It's all plastic. Carb is mikuni vm13.

Well instead of bending the plastic, I bent the spring. Running good now.

It's a dog though tops out at 38 mph on the dash. What do I first? It's my first 2 stroke, I know the 4strokes like the back of my hand. Transmission? Or cdi?   |

So, I need some help identifying this engine. Some say it's a 1e40qmb minerelli, some places call it a morini. Any ideas on how to tell the difference? I'd hate to order the wrong bbk.

The cvt case doesn't look like any Minarelli I've ever seen. I'd say Morini.

I think it's the TGB Franco Morini engine, not a Minarelli.
