I was doing a routine cvt clean-up and inspection a little while ago. I also installed a Malossi toque controller. My first one so im not sure yet if or how much it will help? The Cobra always shifted very well for a stock set-up but it cant hurt i guess. The good news is my Malossi rollers are holding up really good in this one . All i do is make sure i rub some graphite powder on them and dust a little in the ramps. Works great! You know you did it right when your rollers glaze with graphite . The bad news is these cracks i found in the case around the main bearing . There isnt any play in the crank. The seal is good. She runs good. They could have been there since day one for all i know? I just saw them today tho . Im thinking about cleaning up the area and roughing the cracks up and epoxying or JBwelding them to try to stop them from getting worse. Anybody got any other ideas?

Hey robert... IDK how much i would worry with that... This cobra i have has the same cranks ALL OVER the cases
Even my zx case, the brand new one i just bought has them also but no leaks.. I think the molds do this... my kymcos are cracked...They all look like nasty stress cracks but all is solid...
Hey, you wouldn't happen to have a batt. cover you'd sell would you?(for a cobra, others are the same i believe)

No batt cover, sorry.
I just put it back together and rode! Its sooooo nice here today i had to! The torsion control works pretty good. It carry,s a 400-500 more RPM average (i really didnt need), and downshifts better for sure. This trans worked good before, but i can say it is a tad better now

The Cobra is a Cross model not the "R" or racer i thought at first.... The only real diff ive seen between the two is the wheel style and size. The Cross has a 10inch front and 12inch rear. Also, the Cross comes with the hockey mask and the Racer does not. The tires are different as well. The Cross having all terrain and the Racer having Street tires. Other than that im pretty sure they are the same.
I got a Leo Vince SP3 exhaust from Dude this weekend and installed it last night. I am happy with it so far. I was only able to go for a short ride yet but it was nice. Seems to flow more than stock yet isnt loud at all. Barely even louder than stock. More of a deeper pitch of sound than more db,s. I like the "off throttle" sound now when letting off the gas to slow. It actually sounds like a 2T now. Love the look for the Cobra. Looks stock and shouldnt draw an unwanted attention. I will need to install a little bit heavier weights. It is making better power in the low and mid range and is reving a tad out of the power now to about 35mph. It revs to about 8,000 and it makes the best power at 7-7,500 in stock trim. I will report back soon with pics and updates.
This is the only thing ive done to it besides gas and oil and shes still running strong! I almost made it a year with no mods.
