Ran a 0-30MPH again, this time tucked and got the same 6 seconds lol. It has a little more in it as it sits(never runs its in hot humid weather) but not much. I think the 0-30 will get a little better as this new belt breaks in.

Went out a little while last night and manged a few more test runs since the scooter was running better. Got the 0-30 to this ;D And just had to run an 1/8th just to see what it would do  Not to shabby for a lil 49cc ;D

Dang. I'm not even sure my 90+ scoots, other than the Venus, could do that in the 1/8. Guess it doesn't tell you MPH?

Seriously, that's not a joke. I dunno if it's all the weight or what, but the Venus is the only one that leaves hard. I'm over 100lbs heavier than you I think (250). You could always get Erica on the back and see how much difference it makes in ET so you'd have an idea of what us fat folks deal with on a scoot. lol I need to try and mount the G-Tech to the Venus. It has a 12V receptacle now. Show you how slow my scoots are.

Don't worry Brent, my 0-30 time's are crap too - it needs too many revs to get going. 0-60 get's a little more interesting though ;D

Lol, i gotta let the cvt warm up before a run or i have some kinda slip right now at WOT from a stop.? Only when cold tho? Weird, usually its the other way around. I will give that a shot sometime and tell you how it went. I did have Paxton on the back last night and went 0-30 in 7 seconds. Havent had Erica on for a timed run yet but Paxton is not much lighter than her at all right now. He is right at 100. We had about 240lbs with us both on. Im guessing the 1/8th would be around 17,s or so? I dunno, i will try. Oh, and a vid, gotta get a vid!
Mount the G-tech on it, you might just surprise yourself? Or not :dunno: . Never the less, its all fun :scoot: :scoot2:

Just curious as to why you think your scoots are sooo far off from running that slow? You dont even have a reliable timing source do you? Other than the G-tech and you havent tried that have you? Like i said, go give it a try! You might just see how quick they really are and have more fun than you thought you would! That things gotta be quicker than 15,s!

I've seen how much faster scoots are with my lighter friends. The SunL was actually even kinda quick with a 150lb friend on it, went 50MPH+ with less work than when I finally did it. I just never counted that for me doing 50. When I race other friends, I lose. Put equal weight riders on, win. I'm the lightest I've been for over 10 years, but I'm still a big dude. 100+lbs makes a heck of a difference at scooter HP levels. It's been posted before, but watch these for my experience with weight on scoots...
And here's T2 with the a lighter rider vs the same Roketa that dusted me in that vid (same mods)...
I will see if the G-Tech will work on there at some point. CVT is apart and still needs to be cleaned out so I can't just do it real quick ATM.

Thanks for the vids. I just came in from trying the G-Tech. Apparently I'm so slow the G-Tech won't work. More than half the time it doesn't even start. That's taking off hard, wheel up most of the time, so you'd think that'd trigger it. When it does start, it just counts till I stop. It wants to do 0-60 then 1/8 and then 1/4. Well I can't get the 60 right now (stuck it back together with multiple spacers to get a good 1st gear) so it never measures anything else. This is the first gen G-Tech, maybe 8-9 years old?

Brent, isn't the sensor on the front wheel? So if you're wheeling it's not gunna turn, so no reading.
