Ok, i finally got the tire and wheel fixed. I pulled the wheel again. Broke the tire down off the bead. Check the bead seal area on the wheel and it looked good. Checked the wheel bearings and they seemed ok. Looked the whole tire over real good again and it looked good. I marked the wheel and tire so i knew were it was on the rim. Broke it down and spun it 180 degrees on the wheel. Resealed it to the rim. Got it all back together without a balance or any weights on the wheel.
Its soo much smoother!! This is the tire i wanted!

Front wheel/tire is deceiving. I will get it balanced out and smooth one day. Let it sit overnight and its a mess again!
Went ahead and installed a Naraku 70cc kit to see if that would help lol. I was less than thrilled with the casting and ports. This was probably the nastiest looking cylinder ive seen. Very sharp edges! Paint flaking and chipping off from inside the ports. Uneven ports.. You name it! I cleaned the cylinder up and used an old Malossi head with it. Naraku dosnt supply a head with the kit. If i could do it again ide spend the extra $50 or so for a kit of better quality, with a head. I must say, i am happy with the torque/power increase overall. It feels like it could pull a taller final drive ratio now.

Did you get that 70 Naraku kit from www.racingplanetusa.com ? Just wondering... I just installed the Motoforce 70cc Street cast iron kit on the Keeway. Along with a new right side case. Its running good so far. Did you look at the motoforce kit at all? :stumped: It was only 10-20$ more than the Naraku w/o head. If you are going to be home I'll stop by and check the Naraku kit out. You can see the new/old Keeway again. :riding: :burnout:

Just a little update. Still need to install the taller final drive gears. I did get a Dello 21mm clone carb installed and i am very happy with it. Cool head temps, lower throttle positions to maintain speed, pulls allot better up top. Still getting a mileage reading but it seems close to the stock 14mm carbs 50-80MPG. I also shot my exhaust with a few coats of paint. The exhaust temps used to get so high it eventually burnt the old paint off.

Good stuff. How many miles have you put on that Michelin? Mine got "screwed" and I haven't rode enough with the new one to know if the dual compound is going to show much benefit.

Not sure?? Maybe 1,500? I like the rear allot unless its cold.. If its cold and i jamb into a turn i feel the transition from hard (center) to soft (sides) and it well, it just feels weird to feel it i guess. When they are warm its no issue. I hate the front! Never balanced right and has a shake i cant stand. Hard to trust turning at speed but i do it anyway. Ive been told the tire itself has got to be faulty by a fella i know that uses these on allot of scoots. Its never slid out, or washed out on me so i guess that says some. I see a small chicken strip on the rear. When i first got these and broke em in i had none.. Looks like i need to get to a lot and wear those off

I can feel the transition on mine sometimes as well, but I've still got a Bopper up front. From the way it feels at times, I'd almost expect to see a ridge or change in angles.

Opps my bad! new to the forum was stuck on the first page lol! Reading peoples builds are just as fun as building your own. Especially with some of the stuff 2stroked has! Maybe that's just my 2 stroke fanboy in me, but you obviously know what your doing when it comes down to this!
If you ain't mixing gas your not hauling ass!

Been awhile since ive tried it so for fun i did some 0-30MPH tests and 1/8th mile runs.. Here was my best 0-30 with the new carb My only 1/8th run i did. Not too shabby for a DD 70cc

That 21 Dello carb is sooo small next to the Mikuni stuff I deal with!Does the 'Ol Cobra R still have a 50cc jug or maybe a replacement??
