Had a very nice Sunday today! Got a little work done on the scoot and watched the Lions squeak by with another win. Stripped her down... Tried my best to mark out air holes with some chalk... And here's how she ended up- well actually I added a few more holes after taking this pic... I started with a paddle bit and quickly realized that it wasn't a good idea with all these curves and switched to a stepped bit. There's two holes that are bigger than all the rest because of that but all in all I'm happy with it! Damn that's what I should've done with mine, damn it,it looks good niz

Got some more AIR holes drilled! This time I took a little different approach and drilled the holes a little more "organically"- I didn't measure anything out and just eyeballed them. I messed up with those two little holes over the headlight housing. (they're not far enough away from the headlights and I almost drilled right into the housing!) I'm thinking I'll just put plastic plugs into those holes. It looks a little raw atm with the white molded plastic showing through so I'm definitely going to have to do some painting after this is all finished. Phew sure was a lot of trimming with an exacto knife! I'm thinking this should provide plenty of airflow to the rads. I've been studying some other liquid cooled scoots such as the Aerox, etc. Most of them have an overflow bottle. Do I need to have an overflow bottle? Supposedly it can carry a little extra fluid as well??

I don't have an overflow bottle. I probably should at least have a tube that directs the water somewhere other than my knees if it decides to puke on me, but my frame braces are right in the way of the nipple. I'm testing my luck and not doing anything about it right now. When I go to a bigger cylinder and have the bike apart again then I'll have the radiator altered.
Can you get me some rough measurements on your headlight assembly please?

I don't think you need an overflow bottle. Mine has never vented over and made a mess. Just a hose should be fine. It's more of an EPA thing, fluids on the ground are a big no-no.

Woops sorry Spaz I spaced on this yesterday- Here's the rough dimensions: About 11 inches wide x 12" "tall" (going back and up at about a 45 degree angle) x 8" Deep.

Thank you Niz76. Spend two hole days with this thread studying! Loved it! Why I spend this time, was to find, if Kazuma 90 ATV 2T (Panda 100) has the proper engine for my CPI Oliver 50cc (jog 50/90, Keeway Matrix, Keeway f-act) frame? www.flickriver.com/photos/tags/kazumaatv/interesting/

any speed gains from the air holes or is it mainly for cooling purposes?

That def looks like a Minarelli horizontal stuffed in there. Just need to get a better look at it and find out if it's a shortcase that doesn't really fit the CPI Oliver, or if it's a longer Adly engine that can take a 12" tire and would work on your scoot....

any speed gains from the air holes or is it mainly for cooling purposes? The holes are because I'm converting this scoot a liquid cooled hyper race setup! It's kinda a stalled project though because I love playing with my 2t 208cc 'shifty' scoot so much that I've been neglecting the AIR...

i can understand the need to play with the big boy toy. playing is a little more fun than work. ldk tho sometimes i ride just to figure out what i can fix or alter that day(for fun).i seen your radiators and figured the holes were for getting air in to them. just wasnt sure. ive also seen people cut or drill thinkg it'll be less of a breadbox going down the street lol. thats why they make aerodynamic "sport" scoots tho. looking good!

Hi!
I have the same scooter. Can you tell me what type of rear brake pads can I use? I can't find any here in Hungary. That type is very rare here. Maybe from oversea.
