Well i needed to burn some vaca time and was in the mood for a solo ride so i rolled out at 9 this morning headed south on MO 125. Not too long till i was deep in the Ozarks hills. Rolling self portrait. I rode all the way into Arkansas and the end of 125 at Peel's Ferry. Then back up and over into Branson. After lunch at Steak 'n Shake i continued west and then up and several hundred twisties later, home! The Super 8 ran great and never missed a beat. Ended up just shy of 1300 miles on the od. ;D

Another great ride! You'll have that new scoot worn out sometime next year.

Thanks guys, glad you enjoyed the pics.
The Dragon is running great. Burning 0 oil (i check it often). GPS says it runs around 57 on the flats and it holds speed well in the hills. I wish it was a little quicker off the line and would like a little more top end (nothing new there. LOL) I get the feeling Kymco does a conservative build so if and when we finally go "under the hood" it should not be too hard to get some more out of her.
We need a 150 tuning genius round here to tell me what to do!

I think a big bore kit, turbo, EFI, and some tuning is probably what it needs. ;D :thumb:

I think a turbo might void your warranty. lol

Nice thing is that my "tuner" is also my warranty guy AND my state inspection guy. How clever is that!

Lighter weights will give you more take off and not hurt topend unless you go to light. and or course you can go with dr. pulley sliders and you might gain a little in the top end.

Sliders would probably be a great thing with the miles Tim racks up. It took me forever to try them, but now that I finally have I love 'em. Smoother "shifts" and they are holding up so much better than rollers for me in multiple scoots.

Good point about the miles. I should probably do a Kevlar belt as well?

Some people love 'em. Don't think I ever tried one. I've become a fan of Bando belts. I think they make 'em in kevlar too.

I know the feeling. After tons of snaps in a matter of weeks with 2 different scoots and locking the tire up on me at pretty good speeds multiple times, when I feel something weird I'm always thinking "please don't break". lol
