So I have another RS100 in the shed. I bought a 2004 YZ85 in a sorry state ..
Cue Lil Smokey; The Smokening This one is going to be as performance oriented as possible. While the last one was a styling exercise with a nice kick in the performance... this build will be as performance oriented as possible. I may even add a old school half fairing, although I prefer the naked look.
the YZ cases are light years ahead in performance, shrouded crank wheels.. pretty nice inlet to transfer ducting. I wish it was a 2019 engine though, they introduced a power valve like the KTM...
The boys at Scootertuning.ca are in the early stages of hooking me up with an Athena 112cc kit for this, so it will be in the realm of 28 peaky HP.
Stay tuned!

Welding is great. But when you weld you move the metal around due to heating. Bearing pockets can go a bit egg shaped, gasket surfaces can pull and warp. This along with simple poor casting having to be built up and ground down continually to get enough filler in the base material to make a "clean" weld. It's very tricky.

You want the best mix? Weigh your A/B.. its the reccomended way devcon says to use their product. However you would need to know the weight ratio for that.. possibly may be on the net.

The only other factor i can say is while jb is resistant to gas or perhaps even ethanol, if it isnt 100% cured when it first comes in contact that is entirely out the window.

Really you should avoid ethanol. Usually premium fuel has less or none. At least here in Canada. None of the old o rings, seals or possibly the floats are very resistant on these old rides.
Devon aluminum is good but I have also used JB. Can't comment on ethanol compatibility but it's probably on the devcon website.

Sound clip of the exhaust. Had a bad coil so it wouldn't rev out, swapped on a malossi and it sounds great.
Also starts bogging because I only have the fuel line for fuel.

There are also a bunch of youtube videos about interceptor not being suitable vehicle use. Whether or not it's a wash I dont follow/care.. most of my trials riding buddies use interceptor.
Dominator is my go to cheap oil, it's cheap smells nice and is decent.

Sneak peak, it's mostly done. plastic fitting and cutting some rad holes and it's massive burnout time.
