I checked for leaks. I didn't find any.
If I give it gobs of throttle and it's up more just on the main, it returns to idle normally.

I can still run that Dell on a different Malossi intake rubber(36mm) so I don't need to redesign my whole intake.
Keihin's I definintely have to redo all that stuff as they have a 45mm OD engine side.

So who has a Dellorto 30 or a Keihin 33 PWK for me on the cheap?
I may even use a Mikuni TMX 30 or 33 if I could find one! *Shock*
I have this consistent problem with my home brew carburetors I cannot shake. Bike will lean out at Constant part throttle, transitioning between pilot and main and if I chop throttle the revs will stay up high like its starving, If i blip throttle on to main a few times it settles down. I have had a 55/140 in it and it would barely idle and would burble and break up on the main and the skinniest needle with the longest taper I had in it (oddly enough its a OKO needle, I bought the polini kit and it was useless.. all the needles are so close to the same) and it would still do it. I used 2 different castings to see if it was the problem (I bored another carb even bigger). I drilled out the idle circuit in one of the carbs and left one stock. I checked the jet well for air leaks. I then realized its running the float bowl dry. So I drilled out the passages in the casting for more fuel and opened up the orifice the needle goes in. It still seems to do it even with fuel pissing out the overflow at idle.. I think I just need a bigger carb. I have to admit defeat.
Other than that it's a monster for sure when I get a moment of power out of it.
Going to the cycle salvage to dig thru old carbs tomorrow after work.

I am close to your jetting for everything, but my powerjet has the smallest jet and the thing blows a trail of rich smoke when im up in the RPMs. May need to get an adjustable powerjet to play with.

Pig are you running a powerjet carb? If so what size jet do you have in it?

I have one of those.
All my builds I keep as OEM/legal light wise as possible. Those yellow lights are not legal up here in Canuck territory.

Spent most of the night making a dead Makita battery into a 12.6v pack for my scooter. Pay no mind to the liberal amount of hot snot, it's just to keep the wires from breaking with vibration. I added a voltage test circuit to it for ease of use. I have to now wrap it in heat shrink tubing for that professional look. I have had this running for a bit, coolant is working did some little rippies in the garage and I think it is going to be terrifying.

So my sweet basically free Malossi rear shock showed up. Definitely been sitting on a shelf for a loooong time... old yellowed box, all the stickers ont eh shock were starting to bubble and lift from sitting with the packaging oil on it. Like a glove. Nice amount of room for slicks. Rad also got welded, ready to rock. And a quick sound clip of the new exhaust. Soooooon...

He has definitely helped me out of a jam, and seems like a pretty good guy. The Twin wouldn't be alive if he didn't sell me his last Taida Ignition that he didn't even have up on the website and I suspect was for his personal stash. Plus the guy loves Honda 2t's so thats a big win in my books.
Because he is a short ferry + drive I really want to take this bike to his Dyno this summer.

I have like 3 other Dio's and another whole Spree just collecting dust...
I would love to find an AF34 to throw it in. Just because the mounts are already similar.
