They should be about the same size, could be some small differences depending on the model, but not much.
Some model even come with the 2 different engine.
Since a 50cc and a 150cc scoot are practically the same, if you go and buy the 150, keep the 50cc as a learning project. That way you will have one to ride and one to toy around.

Yeah most of the 150cc scooters are somewhat bigger than the 50cc scooters. They do have a couple of moodels that are small-ish. The BMS Romas type is a short case 150cc scooter so it has 10 inch wheels just like the 50cc you have there. The smaller wheels make the ride a lot mor bouncy but they make the scooter more nimble. (easier to lean over/make turns) Here's a pic. The girl is riding it. The blue one is also a 150cc "Vintage" style. popular model. short case, 10 in. wheels. The other one is a "Handsome Boy" style scooter. It's pretty small. It comes in 50cc and 150cc. The 150cc usually has 12 or 13 in. wheels I cant remember which so it rides smoother.

Hey guys, should I sell this thing I have now or keep it for parts? I thought someone said that the parts from a 50cc gy6 can be used on a 150cc? (some of them, not all obviously).

Strip it down all the way to the frame. Save every nut, bolt and washer in a container cause those are universal. Lots of parts are interchangeable between the 50 and 150 scooters. CDI sometimes, starter relay, coil, stator sometimes, The front brake master cylinder/caliper sometimes, brake shoes in the back are the same if the 150 has 10 in. wheels, light bulbs, light sockets sometimes, wire connectors, levers sometimes, throttle grip sometimes, tires etc... The engine parts and carburetor are not interchangeable but you may decide to buy another 50cc in the future so it's good to have another engine to scavenge parts from.
When I was working on scooters I bought several and stripped them down like that and scrapped the frames. Nice to have that stuff laying or hanging around if you have space especially after you get a scooter that runs because you may catch "the bug" and get addicted like many of us here and decide one scooter isn't enough.
