Here are some more pictures after the "Bio hazard cleanup"" yesterday, and a few measurements for "190" and fourm members too use for future reference... .. .. ...these measurements where took with harbor freight calipers and I would trust the analog readings more then the digital reading might not be as accurate as the analog, even though I "zeroed " them out they seem off slightly!!

Just went and bought some sandpaper and buffing wheel for a drill,I'm gonna wet sand the tranny cover, and do like Brent said with the cover and try too get the "Tgb" insignia too stick out with a chrome like mirror finish and paint the rest, went to auto zone and they had a great variety of high temp spray paints that have a rating of 1300-2000f° so I think I'm gonna go that route once I get engine all buttoned up,on a side note I bought my replacement bearing from pfs.com for the morini do you think there good enough or should I by the better bearings, also posted in the general thread of mine on my gear situation I'm dumb when it comes too that any info or help that's posted to that thread would help me out alot, thanks

I've used the bearings from PFS that come in the Hoca crank bearing and seal kits (for Minarelli) without issue. They're in my 103cc ATM.

Thanks for the pics!It appears that the cases are around 70mm ID for the crank..How much thickness is between there and the nearest case screw hole? Are the center to center dimensions of the cylinder studs 46mm?

Yes 46.22 give or take right around or over 46mm for center to center on the bolt holes, certain Morini's with the bottom motor mount are 52mm if I'm not mistaken on the center to center, like the katana and hyosungs is yours a top mount or bottom, morini made 3 variants one was in the sr50 one for the Katanna and some other Suzuki scoots, and the one I have is is in the 98-02 italjet formula 50 and Tgb scooters,Tgb makes a 90cc for there ATV but have yet too find if there morini or Mina's!!!... ....its getting there gonna keep on pushing to get that mirror finish!!; ) Wow the inside supports for this cover is thick I need too do more work on back vent hole with my burr set

Ive got a Hyosung SD50(bottom mount). It'll stay stock, but I plan on getting a 'build' motor to work with..Thick wall cases are what I like as the Mina's are paper thin..What about cylinders?Guess you got an AY50 Katana LC jug?

No there holes are centered(Suzuki, katana etc..) at either 52mm or 54mm ,malossi part #319747 l.c is the only kit that is a direct fit for this motor all the other kits would need bolt holes in case moved,I think there might be a polini lc kit that's a direct fit but there next too impossible too find, there also was a hebo l.c kit that was direct fit but there also impossible too find cause they stopped producing them years ago!! Shoot me a pic of your motor if you can so I can see it and see how it is made, also for some odd reason the euro version of the morini engine the intake goes out the right, instead of the u.s version the intake goes out the left, for what reason I don't know!!!

Hey brother, what's up with the calipers? Looks like maybe you didn't zero them out? May want to point out for any folks that're looking to get any dimensions here that the digital readout #'s are not accurate... Can get a pretty good idea by looking at the analog #'s on the calipers though...

So I did the intake work for the engine here is what I got now,way bigger intake and I lost some sealing edge but I'm gonna build back up with Jb weld, why does everyone put Jb weld after they port with dremmel??I went ahead and smoothed out all my cuts with Jb weld also got my crank on chill in freezer, tomorrow I will install bearings on crank and then heat case 1/2's and drop the crank in and seal the case back together, I bought some permtex ultra grey is that sufficient enough too seal case 1/2's together???

No grease needed, gets lubed by premix,,just a squirt of good 2T oil is enough..
The revised reed setup looks like a great addition!

Yeah I was surprised how much material I had too remove too get it too fit, tomorrow I'm gonna match the bbk gasket up to the case so its a match and chamfer the ports on the malossi bbk, also getting a buddy too weld me radiator brackets on the frame some where and also take plastics off of scooter for repair in the near future,I just wish I would've known how much material the case had and I would've got a 45mm crank,oh well im good with what I got for now: /
