Today matched gasket with case turned out pretty good also chamfered the malossi bbk and put bearings on crank, here are a few pic's of the matching process, was pleasantly surprised how close the gasket matched up to case, wasn't too much material to remove.... .... Pictures didn't turn out so good and didn't really take pics of the bearing install cause there is many vids by Brent & other ppl on how to do the hot/cold install!!Also does the bearing/crank have too sit another 24 hrs in freezer I would like to seal the cases back together today. The crank and bearings have been sitting in freezer for about 2 1/2 hrs now any one think the case will go back together now??

Yeah I was surprised how much material I had too remove too get it too fit, tomorrow I'm gonna match the bbk gasket up to the case so its a match and chamfer the ports on the malossi bbk, also getting a buddy too weld me radiator brackets on the frame some where and also take plastics off of scooter for repair in the near future,I just wish I would've known how much material the case had and I would've got a 45mm crank,oh well im good with what I got for now: / Your build is going nicely!Ive looked the web for TGB stroker cranks, but could find none.I see some listings for the suzuki AD100,but they are waay too wide to fit the cases..Where have you seen them offered?

I was gonna buy a different brand stroker and modified it to fit in the morini engine,I've never seen any Tgb stroker cranks 190 but I do know that Tgb made a 90cc ATV called the "hornet" but can't find any info on what style motor that was in it

More progress tonight got the engine back together,it was a "beotch" but I got it after smashing my thumb and saying every bad word ever invented(the neighbors must of though I was murdering someone)lol here is my progress so far.... .... ... .....how loose should the crank spin? And I haven't put any 2t oil on bearings yet since I still need too put oil seals around the crank, can't wait too get it up and running!!!

Nice crank,,waaay better than the 'porkchop' stock stuff..Crank should spin freely,if it feels stiff, try rapping each end with a short piece of 2X4 board(please dont use a hammer as a crank can get out of true very easy..).I'm enjoying a 'off the beaten path build',hope its a screamer!

Almost was a disaster but I averted it,I did the hot/cold install,I pushed crank with bearing in case and it only went 1/2 way I almost panicked but I got it loose by pushing it back out, then I tried again and was successful, then I did other side, and it did the same thing but this time the bearing slid off crank when I pulled and was stuck 1/2 way in case,so I asked my father n law how he would get it in the rest of the way he had a bearing install tool so I got the bearing in case. The side with crank in the freezer i then pulled it out and used a heat gun to heat bearing so I could slide crank in and button up case doing the cross tighten pattern to get an even tightning pattern, all is good

I did a quick search and found someone else mentioning the same issue, but no solution other than not using the kickstart. You may want to try the same place you got the crank to see if they know or perhaps even contact Malossi USA. May even be listed under related items on a site selling the crank if you're really lucky.

Is tha Malossi crank right hand thread??TGB should be LH because the kick start will try to loosen a RH nut..If you just need a replacement nut,ScrappyDog can get TGB parts..

One more question when I pulled the stock bearing seal they had grease packaged in bearings should I repack or just use 2t oil like "190" said??

I don't pack crank bearings. I can't imagine it would stay in there at 10k+ rpms.

Thanks was just double checking on the bearing grease thing so I started too put the head on and in the middle of putting rings on pistons they snapped not "1" but both snapped should I get malossi rings or just order rings from p.f.s,yeah 190 its right handed thread on the malossi crank was wondering if I can modify a right handed kickstart nut too work on the crank
