Plug looks a little rich but not bad, especially if you're not having any problems. Almost sounds like something is vibrating like a panel or maybe the shroud around the engine...

A few things I notice.. One..your valves are noisy and set/gapped pretty large! I can tell by the sound..also if your rpms are THAT high at 35mph..you may want to up your cvt rollers weights a gram or two...or use a lighter torque spring in the rear pulley. Ok..allow me to explain..as I have seen this before on customer scoots. The sound you hear sounds identical to 'rocker arm bounce' When the valves are set/gapped too large and the engine rpms get up there..the slop and play in the valve lash allows them to hit the valve stems and 'flutter' or bounce. What is your valve lash set at? Check that and get back with us all here on that..and we will go from there.. If I am wrong..where do I send the Starbucks coffee and doughnuts to?.. Cause I would owe ya that at least.. Glenn

That is a good setting..but check again as they do loosen up..and also tighten up. But they do sound loud in the video..as if they are too loose..

Honestly I have no clue what that is right off hand. It definitely does not sound good though. Here's where I'm not really understanding. You said when the nut loosened up you could put your entire pinky between the space where you would normally put the feeler gauge. Even with that nut completely loose and the adjuster on the rocker arm unscrewed all the way, you should not be able to put your pinky in that space. There shouldn't be enough room at all for that. I'm thinking maybe your valves themselves are messed up. Can you take a picture of the valves and post it? Specifically the one the nut came loose on. usmcdoc: I've heard valve bouncing before too. That could be the issue. But that's pretty darn loud just to be that. Could be your piston hitting the valves. I dunno. It's hard to diagnose a scoot by watching a video.

Well now I have an even bigger problem. The threads on the screw somehow got stripped when I was trying to tighten the locknut so now it just keeps spinning and won't tighten. Fml. And I have to get to work in the morning this can't be happening

And I have to get to work in the morning this can't be happening And there ya go Sir..that is the cause of your valve bounce/valve slap and loud noise we hear... But will the part you ordered fit your scoot? We would need to know the year..make and model..but even then there is a chance they used different size rocker arms on the particular model you have. 2013 on up..most were using 69mm valves. Best way is to look at the valves with the valve cover off. Here is a pic that will show you the difference in the two.. Check out Brents kick ass video here ---> www.youtube.com/watch?v=V_GPI1VIk4o&feature=youtu.be It will show ya how to tell whether your valves are 64mm or 69mm
