Would bad roller weights make a rattle sound after belt change?

Possibly, but it almost sounds like the starter bendix or the variator nut is loose.

How did you change your belt? The starter bendix might not be installed correctly.

I use this method by just sliding the belt over m.youtube.com/watch?v=XakWj8YM_P4In addition kick start isn't working really sometimes it makes a loud cranking sound n gets stuck I press the push start and it pops back up

Floyd, You have had something rattling around inside your cover...all your fins are gone off the variator fan. At some point you will want to replace that.
As a word of caution....be very careful trying to start by holding the bendix (FYI not something I would try)....if the motor would start your fingers are in a place that could cause a sever injury!! I know it can be frustrating...but not worth getting hurt...then you might not be able to ride!

Yes, that fan is a fan no more and will cause overheating of the cvt system unless there is additional venting as some folks are doing. Scrappy's has them for like $3. I just had to get another one myself after my variator nut came off while riding. I will admit that is not much of a fan to begin with but, remember, these are cheap Chinese scoots and if they could have shipped scooters without that fan, they would have as it would have been cheaper to do so. I have vented my cvt with some holes but, I want to really open it up soon. I would NEVER try to start my scoot with my fingers holding one end of the Bendix. That is nuts man. Bill

Ya I think that's were all the rattling is coming from the variator n rollers. Plenty vibration. It started this morning idled then went for a test drive died instantly. Also I haven't got it able to start since. I think Ima have to remove the variator but I don't have the flywheel lock yet
