The front wheel needs to be spinning. The speedometer & odometer are connected to the front wheel via the speedometer cable. Unless you are running it on a treadmill you will have to take it for a ride, preferably outside. Them walls will come up quick indoors. lol I got the screen door open bro

You got the engine running, thats half the battle. As for the rest of the things that are not working. My best advise is to replace the ignition/key switch, vs hot wiring it to work. Its easy to short something out and blow the fuse. Once you replace the key switch and check the fuse,(usually located near the battery) I think all the other electrical issue should go away.(unless the wiring has been altered or messed with). Your RPM, fuel gauge, turn signals, horn, and rear tail light needs 12v from the battery to work, and that power is controlled by the key switch.

If the left and right switches come with the brakes levers(shown in picture), you dont need to buy the chrome brake lever part.

Most 150cc carbs see 49cc scooters as beneath them and refuse to work properly when installed on one due to an (unearned imo!) sense of self importance. Just Kidding. It needs to be tuned. www.49ccscoot.com/faq/carbtune.html
