I would swap the pins from one connector to the other(matching the same color wire to pin location). Just check continuity between the 2 green wires.(I am assuming they are both grounds and go to the same place on the back of the key switch) On the plug, the pins are held in with a small tab.(circled in green) Us a small screwdriver bend the small tab back in, and the pin will slide out.(circled in green) Once the pin out you will need to bend the tab on the pin back out thickness of the screwdriver tip.(circled in green)
Tab Highlighted in green
Screwdriver used to bend tab back out. To get it started, push it out from the opposite side.
This is what the tab should look like when bent back out.
The pins only go in the connector ONE way. Do one pin at a time, it will be easier than trying to remember which wire went where.

However it works when bridge to solenoid but key has to be turned for it to work . So I'm guessing I have it hooked up right because I can read the rpm on the dash however brake light isn't working and push start isn't working only works from solenoid bridge

Have you checked the fuses to see if they ok ?(check with multi-meter set to ohms) The rear brake light should come on if the key is on and the brake lever is applied.

It works from a kick start or solenoid jump but not the ignition button yes I'm holding down the brake

The kill switch works so the ignition switch should too ....? If its wired correctly, the key should turn off the scooter as well as the kill switch.
