All seems well that was wrong befor now I think I just have to adjust my carb. It idles perfectly and starts right up but now it dies out when you give it gas.

What size main jet are you running now? The big danger is running lean.

A 95 main jet and a 35 pilot jet on a 20 mm carb with K&N style cone air filter

Do you think I should go bigger or smaller I had a 100 main and a 38 pilot at first but that was before the new rings should i try that again?

Ok so I have tried changing the jets up and down I went down to a 90 and she wouldn't start soo now I'm stumped AGAIN! God this is so frustrating now my Kickstarter is broken so I can't even start the darn thing I have spent a bunch of money on this thing and yet still nothing. She starts and idles and revs but won't ride just stutters and bogs when I try to take off I'm out of ideas I have tried EVERYTHING WHAT DO I DO NOW?!!! I thought for sure. I'm beginning to think there is something wrong with the bbk I installed because it ran decent before the installation and now just barely runs I'm OUT OF IDEAS.

I've tried to go back over the thread briefly, since it's a long one. It looks like this thing has still never actually made it onto the road, but only improved on the stand. The video back on page three reminds me of what could potentially be a CDI issue, especially since fuel options were explored without results. You said it didn't make the sound anymore, which I'd call a sputter, but now it still dies. I've seen CDI failures and even a spark plug failure where it has spark and idles, but can't take any load without sputtering or dying or both.
Has the CDI been replaced during this troubleshooting process? If not, I'd try the stock one if you still have it or buy a cheap stock CDI. Try another spark plug as well if possible. Worst case scenario if it's neither; you have a spare CDI and plug... both of which should come in handy sooner or later.
It would also be nice to know actual compression and perhaps be certain that nothing in the CVT is out of whack and putting it under lots of load. I think it may have been done, but I'll mention checking for vacuum leaks again. You can use an unlit propane torch, carb cleaner, or even a fine mist of water to spritz around areas like the intake, gaskets, etc... and see if the idle changes.

No sorry guys I just stopped trying for a little while due to lack of money sadly it's still doing the same thing basically it idles good but when I give it gas it dies out I recently replaced the cdi and started it but now tomorrow I'm going to put fresh gas and flush the system of the old gas clean the carb and go over everything again checking then recheck in everything again to give it another try updates soon sorry for leaving everyone hanging. And suggestions are always welcome thanks guys for the interest in my issue.

I was waiting for warmer weather as I'm in CT and it's cold here. I was hoping it would be easier to tune in warmer weather and that would give me better results because I noticed before this when it was cold out if I tuned the carb when it got warmer it would seem to need to be adjusted again.

Ok guys here's the update I have found another issue which I blame on cheaply made parts I tested my compression today finally and although I can't remember exact psi I know mine is wicked low it's at about 75psi that's using the kickstarter. So I know it's low but my question is where do i go from here? I honestly want to take this bbk and use it as an ashtray it's been nothing G but trouble since install I have replaced every bolt on part I learned ALOT this time around bUT i still have low compression and a non working scooter I'd obviously like to make the 50mm bbk work but how what next? Can I buy a 50mm non big valve head? Or should i buy another of the same? I was honestly thinking of buying a smaller bbk in hopes of better results. I was looking at a 44mm bbk but haven't heard much about them. Or maybe even a 47mm I just don't know. I just want it to work honestly I'd be happy with the stock bore again but would rather not have this be a waste of time. I definitely know how to correctly install one it makes me sad that it never worked correctly so any ideas woukd be great. Thanks to all that have helped a lot along this long crazy upgrade that as long as it's complete in a month or so I'll be happy.

#1 for me would be to be certain that the compression reading is accurate. No sealing issues with your tester or anything like that.
#2 for me would be to take the top end apart and inspect it, assuming the basics of cam timing and valve lash have been gone over already. At 75psi, something is wrong with the top end or it's sealing. Check for damaged spark plug threads, head gasket failure, valves not sealing, piston ring end gaps too large, damage to any sealing surfaces.

Thanks 90gt when people respond to me on here it always gives me more hope the piston ring gaps were set correctly when installed so unless the gaps can enlarge while installed I don't think the rings are likely I had an issue with the rings early on in this install so I had to buy the better taiwanese rings from Scrappydogscooters.com but I will for sure be checking them out along with everything else I will also later on today when it's light out I will be retesting compression. Although my compression tester is brand new last week. That was my first use of the tool so maybe somehow I did something wrong maybe not screwed in tight enough I'll redo it. What I was assuming the problem was is that when I got the bhv that's on there now one of the valve spring clips was off meaning that one of the valve springs and the po ices were floating around the box but nothing looked damaged so I put it back together and installed it but obviously she hasn't left my yard since November.and I looked on Scrappydogscooters.com for a new bvh but there $150 on there and that's a little steep for me at the moment honestly it's more than I paid for the whole bbk.I am getting abother scooter soon hopefully in the next few weeks but I refuse to give up on this one it's just about a year old she's brand new bike still only 5000ish miles clocked on the odometer and she was cared for I did oil changes very frequently. Probably about every 500 miles or so give or take. So I'm going back over everything yet again. Updates soon.
