Hey everyone. New to the forum. Got a 2015 Yamaha Vino with the fuel injected 50cc. I'm looking for info on how to get around the speed governor. It seems to be limited to 40mph. How do I unlock it? The scooter seems plenty capable of more, and I don't feel quite safe on roads where the speed limit is 45mph. It would be much more practical if I could go at least 50. Thanks!

Not limited thats as fast as she goes stock. To make it go a little faster you'll need to tune the CVT, enlarge the engine or get a 2t. My wife's '03 Vino will do over 85KPH(52+MPH) and it's still a 50cc.

Do they even make a big bore kit for the new 3-valve fuel injected motor?

Matt, do you know if the variator changes the final gear ratio of this bike? That's the only way I can see it getting any additional speed with the engine's rev limiter.
