Actually sounds like your lights may be pulling more juice than your stator is making. If you can check your battery and charging system. First, with enngine off, check voltage, then as u.start it check voltage, then while running, check again. It should be around 12+or -, wwhen off. When the starter engages you will see a voltage drop, tthen when the engine is running the voltage should.climb back to around twelve volts. After running tge bike for a while woth the lights OFF check voltage again. It should be at or above twelve while running, then turn your lights ob and check the voage with the motor and the lights on Im not sure what it should be exactly, but someone here can tell u.

Check for bare wires and loosrr connections around the battery and lights.

No loose or bare wires anywhere

Sometimes the wire connecters inside of the plastic clips can corrode or vibrate loose. The electrical system is kind of a mystery.

What exactly are u calling a light restrictor?

sorry, my mistake, i meant resistor but something like this scooterpartsplace.com/scooter-resistor-5w-5ohm.aspx only on a ceramic stick, the circuit of my resistor is cut so its not useful. checked battery charging when lights are OFF, lights cut only about 0.2 volts off, no big deal here

To be honest, I have never seen one. When it comes to the electrical system, each brand is a bit different. Have u checked the spark plug boot?ya know where the coil wire clips to the plug. I have to reread this thread from the start. What kind of scoot is this anyway?

Is the wiring still stock condition? Or has someone gotten to it? If it has been tampered with, perhaps the hot wire for the lights is too close to the ignition source. To me it sounds like the lights ate pulling from the ignition. Is this bike an A/C or a D/C cdi system?

Yes the plug boot is okay. No black mess there, already replaced it too, with plug itsself. This scoot is basically like aprilia, came from same factory, different name.

Someone have messed with it but i somehow managed to get things work like horn and indicators. Dont even know to be honest, its a cdi and coil in one.

I figured the motor was a 1e40, but never seen a coil built into the cdi. If we had the name of the scoot maybe we could find a schematic or wiring diagram. U mentioned kickstarting it, is the ignition switch(key switch) okay, or is it bypassed?
