Sorry the above is the old Malossi Team this is the one on the new Team II The maps that hold timing longer at peak are the small bore, and the big bore are the other ones. There are also 2 4t maps on them but they curve the other way so mostly useless.

Also what is the code on the side of that CDI?

I would probably shift the whole curve down 3 degrees. The ramp up is probably so it doesn't start backwards sometimes. Thats the MHR Team CDI curve(s) by comparison.

I would just get a 25/25w led headlight. you can get a 1w tail light that is still bright and go from there.
If you idle a bunch yeah the battery will go dead. It's not the best for that. I have a Motobatt AGM that I use that does ok. or you can get a large lithium one.. but if it doesn't charge enough the end result is the same.. you will have to charge it between rides.

Pull the piston off, tape up the bottom end and port away.

PS,Does the timing marks on the unit have any bearing on where the actual spark is when running? Sorry it took a bit to reply. Wasn't sure what you were asking at first, but I guess you're asking about the MVT. There's no reluctor or pickup that I know of. The MVT actually doesn't have the standard exciter and pickup wires. It only uses the exciter wire, so I guess it bases the firing off of the same signal that provides energy for the spark. The mark on the rotor can align with one of 2 different marks on the stator, depending on direction of rotation. I guess because what type of signal it wants, like leading or trailing. If that's still not what you're asking, sorry for being dense. It's just the poles swapping north south +/- that makes the field collapse. It's almost like points in a sense but there is no cam or points. Its solely the magnetic poles swapping and going high and low.

Yeah. I was thinking a router would work with a rheostat or Speed control. Make a mount for the iggy and would be a great test bed.

I have seen something like that with a metal degree wheel and a pointer like a rotor button.
As it rotates it arcs at the degree.

Damn. Well, I ordered the Innova and I ordered a used Craftsman from the 60s that has the spring or tube to go between the plug and cap for $20 shipped. Maybe one of them will work. Maybe this is why they don't give us specs in degrees. If you get the innova and hate it, you can send it back to amazon pretty hassle free. I know they have a 2t version. I have the step down from that one and it does not like any scooter I have put it on to date. Cheapie works fine.

I have a pretty fancy innova and it sucks, it doesnt have a 2t specific mode though. Its damn near impossible to get a consistent reading and the tech is all over the place. The best one I have is this aliexpress 20 dollar mega cheapo no fancy stuff one. s.click.aliexpress.com/e/DxPZPj48

I can probably turn the threads down for you if sending it my way is feasable or 190 may be closer... as for the undersized splines... JB weld or locktite just to fill it in after you snug it up? Not a great fix but might be a good enough one
