The sport pro mkii has a single open exhaust port where as the racing mkii has a bridged exhaust port. I ran a sport pro mkii for 1000 miles without any problems. It's still on a motor under the bench. People have reported ring wear due to the open exhaust port. I would go with the racing mkii. It makes more power, better suited for the C16 and is bridged. I've got 400 miles on it now with no issues and I've run it pretty hot.

Robert, have you tried heavier weight in the S6 clutch? I have all 3 of the supplied 3gram weights in each shoe. I really need to get/make some heavier inserts and try that. I have a couple vids that you can hear/see the clutch slip all the way to the 60ft mark taking a mid to low 1 second 60ft scooter down to high 1.8-1.9 and even some 2 second 60ft,s Back when i ran 13:55 gears and the Hoca clutch/bell combo my best 60 was a 1.4! Felt like i was rear-ended upon launch but those 13 gears ran out quick on the big end.

Someone here mentioned running heavier weights but I can't remember who and I don't remember getting a link to them.

When i put all the weights in it helped and would actually bight when it got some heat in it. The last couple time it was ran it slipped bad!
The 1.4 was my best at Brown County i believe? You know your doing well when the old timers get out of their racecar and walk over to your pit to ask about your scooter and ET,s. They already had a bet on the 60ft as when i told the guy he hit the other on the shoulder and said "see, i told ya".. That made my day!
My 60,s were killer back then but my trap speeds and ETs suffered from the final drive ratio. I think that scooter would be optimal with an 11ish final drive? 10 seems too tall and 13,s are way too short for any kind of power.

I just added my pipe and still not seeing above 8,500 rpms on my runs at WOT. 5.5g rollers (I have sliders but they start at 6g) and stock 50cc I'm hitting 43mph max. I know my ratio is slow, 13.5:1 but still. Though I'm also concerned with pushing the stock crank too hard and I still have a BBK to put on there.

i have 4g rollers in mine id try something lighter. You think so? When I first got the vari, I tried with the 4g rollers it came with and it felt like it barely wanted to move. It's a large frame scoot and I'm 240lbs so I figured I'd need a little more weight. But I guess you have a point, can't hurt to start from the bottom again with the new pipe. Not before I throw a jet into it though.

I'd put the stiffer clutch springs in.
