SON OF A BITCH IT HAS A FORWARD TRUNK!!! That reminds me of my Knight Rider 3 wheeler I had as a kid. I took a knife to it and make a trunk in the front haha I was modding wheels when I was 3!!! Yes, I remember that far back. Scary, I know.
Dude, I'm super jealous and wish I could take that off your hands! If I didn't have to put money into the Baccio, I'd totally shell out the $500 to you right now. Good luck and stay firm!
Wow that sounded dirty...

But the battery under the seat kind of kills me though. The M1 I just got (Go see my post I just did, finally!) BARELY fits a medium open face helmet under the seat right now. I have to wear a XXL helmet. Mom always said I had a big head, hah.. Anyways. But yeah dude, don't break it!

Niz, That thing came out clean!!!
Im telling you, a scoot that clean here in LA would be listed at $1500 on CL.
You invested $240, plus Parts(Even if you had parts on hand they are still worth $), Plus at least 1-2 days Labor(Estimated $400-$600). I would list it for $1000-$1200, Since you already have another scoot, it won't be a big deal if you sit on it for a few weeks. $1200 gives the buyer room to haggle you down to $1000. If you really needed it gone you can tell the guy "Give me $800 cause some chick told me she's having my baby and need it gone!"
That gives you a profit for your labor to build another one, and still get some $ for your time you put into it.
None running scoots here go for $400-$500.
$800-$1000 is still a great deal for a Running Custom Scoot! Just bump the price up for a week and see what kind of response you get, then you can adjust the $ accordingly.Plus you can tell them if they have any problems or need any tuneups that they can come back to you and you will give them a better deal then a dealer or shop would. Problem with flips is getting attached to it when done. No test rides unless they have cash at hand or sign a waiver with Driver License info that if you drop it you buy it! Trust me on that one! Up the Price! You'll thank me later! Good Luck Bro!

Looks about like it just rolled out of the showroom and the ad sounds good. That's one that would have me cursing if it were local cause I can't be piling more scoots into the garage.

Thanks Brent! I ran the idea of keeping it across the wifey and she didn't like it lol. She never gives me any gruff about scoot stuff but she does hold me to my word when I say I bought it to sell it. There's an Italian made Malaguti Firefox F15 lc dual disk brake scoot near me for sale for $450. So tempting....

I'm not sure about the scooter market there in LA (Los Angeles? or Louisiana?) but here in the Tampa area a $800-1k price tag on a 5 year old stock China scoot is unheard of. I do understand the business math you've stated. Lord knows I deal enough with budgets and NOI's etc. at work, but a 1k used scoot here gets nothing but the sound of crickets. Maybe if I do another it will be a Zuma or something LC and there will be more profit to be had, but this flip is right on track with I expected from the beginning and will actually sell for a little more than I thought. I will get my 100cc exhaust that I've been eyeballing A guy from Tampa just called and said he'd be here in an hour or so to look at it....

I agree Niz. I'm guessing it's a different market here in FL. I've got a mint Zuma that I've been trying to get top dollar for a month now. I'm in no rush like you but there is also the business mindset of turn and burn. It costs money to keep things too. My Triton I flipped sold in two weeks for $600. I could have done minimal work to the Zuma and sold it quick and still doubled my money but I chose to make it perfect and trade a little less profit margin for a good bit more cash by spending some money. Same thing at work. My margins are much higher on $1k jobs than they are on 40k jobs. Brand name scoots allow that but you can't do it with a china scoot. People will just buy new.

I hear yah! True, the market in Los Angeles is so over exaggerated compared to what you can buy things for out of state.

SOLD! Maybe I should've went higher on the price haha. I had one guy calling from St. Pete- an hour away and another guy said he was on his way from Tampa- also an hour away. Well the Tampa guy finally showed up 2 hours later and the St. Pete guy was bummed. He tried getting it for $480 lol but I reminded him that I told him before he even drove out I was firm on the price. We went for a short ride on the scoots but it was raining and he said he was satisfied with it. I wanted to go further haha. I told him he could upgrade with a BBK etc. and he said I was crazy because it was already fast. I really need to ride with some of you guys from here and have some real fun blasting around. I'm happy. The flip went smooth and I actually got a bit more than originally anticipated. Didn't think it would sell so quickly but the wifey is happy and I'm still her hero that can make $$ while having fun.

Congrats bro. I'm looking forward to the next one. I don't know if you saw but I said in another thread that I was tempted to sell you my Baccio so you could continue that build. But after riding the M1 and all, I kind of like the idea of having both options now.
