yeah that was harry that I quoted. He says $110 though so I think it's worth a shot to try the 4 pole.
still waiting on TGB Taiwan to reply to emails.

Idk I guess he was looking through the parts manuals and found the part no. for the 8 pole.
like I said that new parts manual I posted is different and shows the different versions of the stators.

Looking at the manual it seems after number 637027 they changed from an 8 pole to 4 pole stator BUT also changed from a 4ah battery to a 9ah battery.
Mine is currently a 7ah.

Let me pose this question, specifically to 90gtvert If the 4 pole stator doesn't charge as much as the 8 pole stator, I can replace my bulbs with LED bulbs and keep the same brightness but lower the wattage of them right? also, TGB Taiwan never replied to me lol, Guess I'm SOL on this. I'll order the 4 pole stator once I get enough info about its feasibility in an 8 magnet flywheel. Another thing, should I be concerned about this? the head gasket isn't exactly on straight and is sort of "pinched" out. doesn't give me any problems its been this way since I installed BBK, just wondering if its something I need to address.\ EDIT: nevermind, looks like it doesn't! you can see how the gasket part is rounded out, but the cylinder part there is flat. So it isn't pinched, just gasket shaped weird.

Ok I've grown tired of waiting around to see if anyone has any idea of it working or not. Going to order it.
Will let you know how it runs.

They've got a new TGB supplier since april, hopefully the scooters will take off and more people will buy them, but I don't see it being too likely.
they are priced too high and the brand isn't as well known here.
It is amazing that the 2015 models are literally 99% identical to the 2006 model.

They are very well built machines, much like Kymco is..Cant compare in price to China scoots, but the China stuff in no way compares to the TGB quality..

No, I know they are well built. But who would buy a "TGB" they've never heard of vs. a vespa or genuine scoot or something like that
