I'd not consider the Aliexpress one,its a crappy piece..The other 2 are a better choice,Malossi is a proven quality brand and a bit cheaper too..

Well the Hoca is $130 + free shipping and the malossi you linked is $120 + $8 shipping I found this and the stage6 they are comparing is the mkII whereas the one I had is the mkI so I imagine the malossi will perform the same as my mk1. I was just wondering if anyone knew anything about the ports on the hoca cylinder vs. malossi cylinder and which port timings/durations would harmonize better with my tecnigas next-r. I didn't really like how widespread my powerband was with the sport pro, had power from 8000 all the way up to like 10,000 l'd rather get something with a peak of power as long as peak HP is the same or higher.

The rubber gasket that's in the Stage6 head and others isn't called a squish band- even though it's kinda like a rubber band and gets "squished" I only correct on this because I've read others calling it that too... It's just simply a gasket. The squish band is the area inside the combustion chamber where the piston dome comes very close to the outer portion of the bottom of the head. When it's mentioned to measure the squish clearance (with solder or modeling clay or whatever) it's short for measuring squish band clearance. Like I said- just wanted to clarify since I've seen that term misused and it's kinda important terminology for 2 stroke tuning!

I noticed the lack of a squish band on the aliexpress kit when even my stock head has a squish band. Is there any actual advantage to the rubber ring gasket?

Hi Elektrey I bought a reed block that was meant to be for the r50x but it didn't fit as it was a minarelli style block. I decided to mount one of the new petals on the old reed block as the petals were very similar sized. I just had to drill new mounting holes. I haven't had any problems with it.

Yeah I have seen lots of those erroneously labeled on ebay. I think the mounting holes on the reeds it comes with are very wide as if its universal.

Your going to have to know which wires on the speedo go to what. www.cobrasales.com/docs/TGB-R50X-Wiring-Diagram-20091118.pdftheres the wiring diagram. If you give me the wiring diagram for the speedo I can tell you which wires go to what.
