I got it from ebay but it is one of the ones from china so I have no doubt it can be found on aliexpress.
Works like a charm! Can't be more satisfied. Glass is pretty great quality, its bright, it's clear, and it looks excellent on my scooter.
the one "issue" I had was that I couldn't set my wheel dia big enough in the settings for the speedo to be accurate in mph, so I just switched to kph and used that as my "mph" reading if that makes sense.
I got mine for approx $50 but I've seen them on there for less now.
@90gtvert
Yeah I made a rookie mistake of putting the top ring on first, and then trying to get the bottom ring on around it lol. It honestly did not feel like the ring was going to break.
I tried installing the bottom ring first after I broke the one ring, and it was fine no problems. I don't think I need a tool, just more experience lol. Also the filings on those rings weren't the best so I'm glad I get to "start over"

I know no one responded but does anyone have any clue?
They said they can order the OEM malossi rings but will take 3-4 weeks.
Will airsal rings work on a malossi piston? (with same thickness and diameter) or is there more dimensions that are included with the rings?

I would think that the size of the rings would be universal for the piston diameter, but you never know. For the price it wouldn't hurt gap them then to slap them in and then check the compression, maybe pulled the head after a brief running and make sure I looks sounds on the cylinder wall before going crazy on it. But I'm a bit reckless sometimes...

As long as the bore size and ring thickness matches up it's pretty likely they'll work for you. Look at the end designs in their pic and compare to what you have too.

yes it looks pretty much identical, I'll give it a shot. with any luck these airsal rings will be pre-gapped.
I also had a question about those two small pits in the cylinder, is it possible they would catch the rings or are they not big enough to worry about?

As long as there's no jagged metal sticking out into the cylinder they should be fine. Look at the size of your ports and then look at the size of those dings. End gaps are prob not gonna be in that area either.

good point, no there is nothing sticking out as far as I can tell its smooth when I run my finger over it but I can feel a little change in texture over it. ring gaps are close to it but shouldn't be on it.

its not the ports im worried about, its these holes: i.imgur.com/GrozhKV.jpgwell they are more like pits. not very deep at all. I guess I should be fine. feels pretty smooth to the touch.

So the package is in. For some reason I thought it was a set of rings but it is just 1. Doesn't matter because I still have the other ring. So it came pregapped at a wide 0.010" and the one ring that I gapped came out to 0.008" I used a new method for measuring gap, by using a bright light and pushing the ring to the top of the cylinder so I can be certain about the feeler gauges going in the gap. Here are pics of the thickest feeler gauges that would fit in the gaps: and the airsal ring So I should put the 0.010" ring as the second (lower ring) on the piston and the 0.008" ring as the first (top ring) on the piston correct? and do these look good?

Yeah,put the .008" up top,in a couple hundred miles they'll be the same gap..
