Well I guess they say when opportunity knocks you should answer haha. I found this non-runner "B Series" 139QMB 4T on Craigslist for $150 with title. I don't have Flip #3 sold yet, but I did still have some $$ in my "scooter $$ envelope" so I jumped on the deal. The seller was surprised at how much interest he got from the ad, but I was the first one to show up The guy also said it may just have bad gas or no spark but it ran great when he put it away. As always- We shall see.... It looks in much better shape in the pics than it is in person, but I don't plan on going crazy making this one look mint. My exit plan here is to get a little experience on a 4t and get it running good and hopefully sell quickly for around $400-$450....

Digging right in... First of all, I have to lol to the tiny little 4T spark plug. It's cute. Verified there is spark. Petcock is working- I can see the fuel filter getting fuller and fuller while I crank it over. Sprayed some carb cleaner in the cylinder and it tried to stumble to life Time to pull this strange looking (to me) carb off....

After an hour of cleaning the carb and running fuel through the gas tank 3 times over only to keep getting crap in the lines, I finally pulled the fuel tank off and it's all rusty inside down toward the petcock. Don't have any vinegar in the house so I'll be picking some up tomorrow... Is there a quicker way to clean the tank besides vinegar? I have the plastic fuel tank from the parts Zip so that's what I'll be using until I get this fuel tank straightened out...

Looks good. That's the same front end and head light I bought for my RX8. Don't let the dark side lure you in Niz. Clean smelling, smooth idling scoots are evil!

I ordered mine from partsforchinesescooters. They made a Eurostrada RX8I with that front and I think a Triton model.

I made a big mess in the garage! I put the Parts Zip plastic fuel on for now just to see if I can get this "Bee" to run but I don't have a petcock for it so I ran the fuel direct from tank to carb. Obviously the float needle isn't sealing because I made a big ol' mess and dained a 1/4 gallon of fuel onto the ground out of the carb overflow woops! I researched a few ways to clean this metal fuel tank and decided to use the muriatic acid since I have some on hand on it's seemingly quicker than vinegar.
I also retrieved two long screws from inside the tank. Not sure where they came from... The fuel sending unit- fuel lever indicator looks to be rusty and not quite sure if it works. I'll test it out and if it doesn't work, I'll try and see if this one out of the Parts Zip plastic tank fits....

I spent a little $$ and ordered THIS KEY SET from ebay since the seller lost the key and simply bypassed everything with a push-button switch wired directly to the starter relay under the seat. Whenever I hear of a lost key or whatever I always double check the VIN # on the scoot and the title- they match $39.00 Shipped.

The screws in the gas cap on my Zuma backed out and ended up int the tank with a bunch of little springs, washers and the locking mech. You wouldn't believe how many parts are in a Zuma gas cap.
