There's no point in replacing a crank with a stock crank. IMO

There's no point in replacing a crank with a stock crank. IMO No, I meant Sit was going to send me the spare stock he had in case mine was fubar from the shotty variator job I did before you fixed it. If I'm going to replace it, I'm going to buy an upgrade. But everything I see is insane so I'll have to wait till I can afford insane or find just under insane to replace what's in there now. I'll have to weigh out wrist pin size options and such because by then I'll probably put on another or bigger bore too. I'm talking down the road if I still have this thing by then. I'm taking my time though right now. I got the pipe on, now I'll try to tune it right and learn how the hell to tune this thing. All while learning how to adjust valves on the other one. Ugh, it's like dating two women at once. WHO DO I PAY ATTENTION TO TODAY! I'm feeling like a Scooter Mormon here.

Damn he got you those parts fast. I thought he was sending me a crank? No biggie. I think mine is holding up so far. But I eventually will want to do a complete rebuild of this thing at some point I'd imagine. Which may involve me looking for a slight upgrade on the crank anyways. *fingers crossed* Dude. You're like the Bob Vila of Scoots now. BRAINSTORM!!! "Hi, I'm Niz. Welcome to, This Old Scoot!" Love ol' Bob! The SMC buyer said he wanted to put an ad somewhere because they couldn't find anyone to even look at it and I had it squared away no fuss. I said whoa! hold your horses! Glad you're happy and all but I'm not ready for all that lol. Besides I barely know my way around 4t's haha. IDK this could become more permanent considering the situation with my knee and my work... but that's a whole other story lol.

You just need smaller fingers to work on em. Oh dear... I hope nothing bad? Again, too bad we don't live closer. I'd love to give you a hand. If there's anything I love about tinkering, it's with other people. Wait... That sounded wrong. Tinkering with the scooters, not with .. Oh never mind!

No head gasket-copper spray only. Checked squish up, down, left, and right. Got 0.98, 1.11, 1.18, 1.09 respectively... No base gasket- just two thick applications of MotoSeal Ultra Grey.

I'd never get away with those numbers.I guess gas in my area is horrible.... I only see two pumpkins...I guess they don't trust you with a knife No they made me paint my pumpkin with watercolors and then smashed it while I watched... witches lol. That squish seems small? Is 30 min. enough time for a break-in? lol. I'm getting break-up at WOT. I held my fingers in front of the airbox snorkel to richen, then removed snorkel, then fit snorkel loosely just to try to get some clues as to which way to go with the jet... Nothing made a difference. 85 mj. I'm leaning toward this CDI being RPM restricted as the "breaking up" doesn't seem like predetonation or spark knock... Moofus is this the CDI your Beamer has? I have a spare stock CDI but different connectors...

Make sure the green wire on back of cdi is cut so it revs Is this the CDI your Beamer has? No green wire. No loop.

Is this the CDI your Beamer has? No green wire. No loop. Yes where yours is marked 1299 mine is 0402. Must be a date code same part number color and plugs. On the plug side there is a green wire looping out of the epoxy/bakelight that i cut to remove rev limiter. I don't have a tach but it cut in real early 6 to 7k would be my guess. I just looked at mine and didn't see the wire but i taped the loop then put it in the holder. The tape blended in with the black epoxy took me a min to see it. Some didn't have a wire to cut but i don't know the years of those. That is a dc cdi different than the standard. Look closer for the loop Sent from my SPH-L720 using proboards

The loop isn't there. I see a really old post of yours Moofus where you say you don't think the older CDI's like this are restricted... Part# PN2A 12.99 Maybe I do need to tune the carb or possibly go with larger squish? I'll try bigger mj's first...
