By logic, if it goes to the CDI it restricts speed. If you disconnect it OR replace the CDI you have no restriction. If the police in your country doesn't care about your top speed I'd remove it. If they do (like they do in Germany, and plan to do over here with the mobile test units) I'd put a hidden switch somewhere to engage/disengage the restriction. Pozz vlatx

The wire from the pick-up goes directly to the pink wire on the cdi, when disconected the scooter run over 50kmh,if you buy the aftermarket performanse parts from the upper post you dont need to change the clutch springs, the motoforce clutch is adjsutuble. I have non restricted CDI . I also have that CDI, with pink wire somewhere.

Pozz vlatx I have tought about that switch for engageing/disengageing the restriction. Well, when I´m going to too little bit of plastic repair, on my scoot next month (april), then I will do this hidden Switch thing, if I don´t forget it!

That manual should be the one you want. You can also check out the Vento Zip and Triton manuals as well since they're the same style of engine.

I´m planing to change my scoot´s mirrors, because the left mirror is original, but when I bought the new right mirror.... Well, I ... made a mistake and orderd an Aprilia SR 50 Street right mirror .... OOOOPS The original mirror on the left is little bi shorter than the SR 50 Street mirror on the right. Mirrors Street II STR8 (with euro approval) link

90GTVert I did little research from shop, that did sell my scoot to previous owner, and now I know that my scoot has the 2-Stroke Engine 1E40QMA with Rear Disc (50cc). I looked from internet that Engine name and found 2 things, that are useful for me: 1. KATALOG BAOTIAN BT49QT-28C (I have BT49QT-28B, but all things are same, almost) 2. NECO F2 50 User's Manual (name is different, but the engine is same - 1E40QMA). Maybe for someone else, is this information also useful (who has similar scoot as me).

I like that scooter a lot! Minarelli powered knock-off of the Aprilia SR50 minus the computer and fuel injection so less stuff to go wrong. It sucks that we here in the land of the "free" can't buy one. Rear disc brake is way cool too.

Go with the stage 6 kits that have "49ccm" stamped on the cylinder. Boom! That easy! Show the cops the stamp then tell them, great work but your job here is done, just a 49 thanks for checking guys. I looked before @ the Scooter Attack homepage, for the stage 6 kits, that have "49ccm" stamped on the cylinder. Then they had that, but now, when I looked that cylinder - there was no cylinder with "49ccm" stamped. So now I don´t know what to do. Maybe I need to: 1. take the variator cover, variator, and clutch off. 2. measure the Diameter of variator shaft, clutch and clutch bell internal diameter. Then decide, what clutch, variator, clutch bell and variator belt to buy. If the clutch is 110mm, then I would buy my Update NR1:Clutch Stage6 Torque Control MKII (110mm) (about 80€) Variator Stage6 SportPRO (about 56€) Drive Face Stage6 (about 20€) Adjustment Washers Stage6 Variocontrol (about 9€) Drive Belt Stage6 (about 25€) (or use the original 788-17-28 belt and original clutch bell) TOTAL: 190€
