Niz, I found those plugs at lowes in the hardware section in one of the slide out cabinets. They where silver metal I sprayed black.

Took the Zuma out for it's first spin and nailed the tune first try! Yeah! This thing has some serious take-off torque! And I haven't even touched the CVT yet! The Airsal BBK is running great (shout out again to Sitticuss for the piston and rings- they're going to good use ). I cleaned this strange double cable Yamaha carb out and went with a 80 Main Jet (stock exhaust), took care of the exhaust leak, and fuel leak, and even straightened out the sagging crooked center stand, threw the seat on, taped the battery to the frame and ripped it up! This thing has almost as much torque as my 90cc! Well dang, I guess this means I'm already onto cosmetics!

Sweet tits that was fast! You're like ADD with the scooter projects man. But good job getting it running. And yeah, a good 72cc kit can really tighten up the sphincter.

I honestly feel like I'm moving sluggishly on this one- haven't put that many hours into it (yet)- luckily I hit the tune on the head- gives me a chance to make up for lost time!

I bet your family has an APB out on you and you don't even know it right now... Either that or your wife is just that damn cool about this lol. I think you're doing fine, really. If I had a garage of my own, I'd be working on these things at 2am and probably forget to eat for a solid day or two. Let's not even mention the lack of hygiene too.

Haha- The wifey (and daughters) likes the fact that I'm always within 10 feet, but still making some $$! Here's some local competition... tampa.craigslist.org/pnl/mcy/4783505315.html I'm looking to sell mine in the similar price range... This one has low miles and looks good, mine has more miles but I'll have an Airsal BBK to highlight and couple years newer and will look just as good if not better! Plus, I take lots of pics and give lots of details... pretty much my 'secret' to selling!

Prepping and priming some parts! In an effort to keep paint costs down I'm foregoing the priming of a few of the interior body panels and going straight to Satin Black. On the panels that have more scratches to be filled, I'm going heavy on the primer so I can fill and sand... still haven't decided on a color- suggestions? Any color but silver- that's the color of the decals I ordered. I'm leaning toward white or blue....

Everything is white that's a bland color. I think blue would make that scoot awesome!

Unfortunately the arguably most visible body piece is also the one that's probably in the worst shape- the front dash cover. It's scuffed up pretty good and has two decent cracks in it. I'm no pro painter by any means- getting better - but I'm especially no pro bodyman! Now, I can finish drywall with the best of 'em, but I'll give this repair the ol' college try... I have about 4 variations of blue on hand and I think I've found the winner winner chicken dinner! Krylon "True Blue"... I like this Krylon "Dual Superbond" paint- it covers well and doesn't necessarily require primer... I guess I'll end up with a 'True Blue' Yammi Zuma!

If you can hang drywall and I can't see the tape lines, then you can surely repair small cracks in plastic my friend. Grab yourself some plastic bondo, break some plastic laying around and practice. Glossy colors I believe can help hide those bad "tape" jobs because I always notice the tape lines when a wall is a flat or satin color.
