This is the front of the harness the parts that connects to the gauges headlights and controls for some reason that is totally beyond me he cut ALL the plugs off... He wired up alligator clips to connect to the battery... Painters tape wtf? This is a damn joke man... So its 5:30 in the morning i am tired aggravated as hell i will be so glad when this is done i still have to figure out how to wire up the controls headlights horn and front turn signals....

Wow. That is quite a custom harness the previous owner created. I think the alligator clips for the battery are a safety feature. With wiring work like that you need a quick disconnect in the event of a fire. Here's one diagram I have handy, and there are many more if you do an image search. With lots of these you won't find specific diagrams for your make/model, but they're close enough to help.

Okay i could not find the diagram for the gauges so here is what the wires do coming off of the cluster.
Fuel Gauge- Black is 12v key switched power yellow is signal output to fuel sensor blue with a white stripe is input from the tank sensor.
Tach- Green is ground Black is 12V key switched power and yellow with a black stripe is input from coil/CDI
All lights have a green wire for ground. High beam indicator is blue with a black stripe Left turn indicator is Brown. (Note this is not to be confused with the instrument lights that also have a brown wire for 12v input.) Right turn indicator is light blue.
Im getting closer!

I eve tried the CVT cover off of the RX50 the starter spins but won't throw the bendix out with the cover off i can hit the start button and the starter spins clockwise is that right?

Note if you ever pull your starter apart mark the orientation of the case so you don't put it on backwards or the starter will spin in reverse! This is why people that have no clue what they are doing should stay away from stuff like this the PO took apart everything on this scoot just to take it apart he even went so far as to take the throttle plate out of the carb and put in in the wrong side of the shaft he also used 2 wrong screws on the throttle plate you can move it 2mm with your finger... Thats okay the new carb, kick shaft gear and lock set came in today so that is all replaced.

I now have headlights complete with high and low beam with both lights working on high/low mode. The turn signals work i'm about 98% done! Getting very close to putting all the plastic body on! This is a long drawn out process but i have learned a lot about these scoots from this!
