Plot twist: the odometer got stuck after 2 miles Well turns out you're right...  I need a speedo gear for a drum brake and cant find one anywhere! All the parts i see are for a disc brake setup.. HELP! |

Do drum brake scoots use a different speedo puck than disc brake scoots?? Yep they sure do!   As you can see its built into the drum brake asy and disc brake setups have a separate puck like this.  |

Might be better off to convert to disc front. Better stopping power and I'm sure there's several members here that have rims and calipers. niz76 might still have an extra set there in the FL and I think bull had a set of forks and some other miscellaneous parts. Look in the classifiWiieds section at the bottom of the forum home page. Oh and one more Floridian that's liquidating scooter parts is oldsman. He's posted in the for sale section also. He's email is probably the best way to get in contact with him and he will replie. I've gotten a few things from him. |

Not a bad idea that Clank has to just convert to disc brake. I don't have anything for a front end atm but I always see parts scoots without title or whatever for under $100 in my local CL. |

Hmm that's a good idea my adjuster is frozen for the front drum. Need a cheep disc rim cliper brake disc hoses and master cylinder. Need to find parts!
