Good evening guys... I am trying to sort this carb out more today. The 120 was good and dark, went to a 115, Tannish color this time, mid still good. The topend is flat after 3/4? throttle. The 115 didnt change it. Is it just going to be "flat on top" or should i still get some power?.. I get the sound, just no performance....Needle is in the 2nd slot now.. Any ideas? input? Also, On the cvt, I was told once to shoot for 9000+rpm @ 30 mph and i'd be right in the ball park... the sweet spot is right there somewhere... HAs anyone used this method of cvt tuning? I did slap in a malossi 1500 yellow with 9g malossi rollers, I get some slip?.. The 1st 5 ft is slow. I can feel it wanting to tug or something from a stop at low speed. Figured i'd try some 8's. I may be crazy but the 1000 seemed to take off better? ?(i did like the launch from the red main on the s9)..... Also, when i installed a bigger tire, my speedo went DOWN 5 mph, so i thought i was haulin ass, but i went out and tested my gps on my cell. well dam!!!!!.... I honestly thought id be closer to 60 than this. It seems that now my speedo it right in tune with my cell's gps... I was hitting 53-55mph, with the altitude of 2250ft... I was thinking of 58-60 with the build,62+ after the gears.. I know 0-50 is a HELL OF ALOT MORE FUN NOW...lol. Any input on this long post would be greatly appreciated.... Hi, the yellow malossi springs 1,500 rpm will also match with a 1,500 clucth springs, try a lighter fly balls for the 1,500 springs, it should be between 24 grams to 30 grams in total or 6 pcs of 4 grams roller weight (24 grams) or 6pcs of 5 grams (30grams) with a 15/42 gear and a pipe you have it will spring you off in take off.

Sweet! Wish we had more events like that here in the US. My version of scooter racing is finding some dude just riding around and blowing by him. Luckily NASRA is trying to get some stuff going. Our very own 2strokd is doing very well in their heads up competition. The latest vid from his "SkeedR" is below. www.usascooterracing.comwww.youtube.com/watch?v=cdKq1Pbtw-UHoly thread-jacking Batman! Sorry about that. lol

Good morning guys.. I'm back with another round of questions on my lil z. I HOPE to get some input on this.. I will finally be able to rebuild my baby,as soon as i can get it ordered... I keep debating on to back to a 47-48mm bbk with oem crank or go ahead and get a 50 kit with a 44mm crank(the biggest i can go before any case machining has to be done) I have heard 1 great review about the 50 kit im looking at and a few good reviews from the other(autotech has it) A 47-48 kit will have me at 72-74cc BUT the 50 with a 44 crank will actually have me alot higher than i originally thought I put in the numbers on the port program and it says that the 50 kit and 44 crank will have me at a whopping 86.4(not the 80-82 i thought)!!!!!!!!! Now that should be a hoss. :thumb: ;D BUT now the question remains..... HOW WILL THE LV ZX PIPE TAKE 86.4cc??? HEre is a pic of the top runner i'm looking at from "jiangwayne" www.jiangwayne.com/scooter/p_i.php?i=507Here is a beautiful 44mm crank....... www.jiangwayne.com/scooter/p_i.php?i=13Here is the 50mm kit. Both are on sale ATM... I am finally going to install that 7" strtch i wanted on the last build Here is a pic of a SWEET ASS ZX in japan witha stretched out look..sWEET RIDE... IDK how it was done but here is the mount i had made for mine...(hopefully it'll work... Any input on the route to go will be greatly appreciated..Thanks for any replies in advance guys...

Have you ever measured the stinger on the ZX? That will help determine if it should be used. If it's small and/or long it might not be a great idea. Check out the test of an MRP 50-70cc pipe on my 90cc project for more info and pics of what it did to the piston in 1 ride ( CLICK HERE). "On paper" it looks like that crank and cylinder will work well together, but then in your other thread it was noted that there have been problems with this sort of thing in the past with the seller. Hopefully that was just a slight mixup on one product and not an ongoing problem. If you really have doubts, I'd speak with Autotech. JW may be great too, but I know other members have said Autotech worked with them when there was a problem. Either way, it could end up being a long ordeal if there is an issue, since you'd be shipping to and from Taiwan. Just another idea, try speaking with someone from VT Cycles. DioSpeedDemon on YouTube used to praise them for their parts and helpfulness. I dealt with them for a PG pipe for a stroker and got a good price and the person I emailed was friendly. Not sure if it's the case with all of their stuff, but they didn't even list the pipe I got from them on their site. That's why I would try to speak with a rep. vtcycles.com/news.php

Hey 90GT, thanks for the reply. YEah, i did measure it but i'd have to measure again cuz i done forgot.(the curved "u" shape @ the silencer?)(stinger.) Seems like the O.D was like 23mm? The header joint I.D was 21mm i'm pretty sure.. I can double check easily. I was thinking since i have a brand new LV ZX pipe that i can't use, It would be sweet to have it modded to be 10 times as good. Well, i have actually spoken to Wayne from "jiangwayne" 3 times now and emails back and forth. I have the 1 review of the same kit ON a zx but of course he said to keep the same oem crank with that 50 kit. :stumped: :dunno: THE ORDER HAS BEEN PLACED!!! :nana: ..Now it's time to worry. :paranoid:  I spoke to wayne again this evening and he assured me that it would go out today and that i should have it in 7-14 days. He is even throwing in 3 extra base gaskets for free, just in case.. (i did ask about throwning a few in.) Just to double check ahead of time. The same target numbers is what i'm after on the port durations? Or should i go a little more aggressive? 190*+ ex.? I'm hoping with it being a 50, i wont need to port much to be W.O. all the way thru.( Z said the ports were great on his. The only issue he had was a small piece of casting on the piston skirt @ the boost port.) She will be a 86.4cc baby stroker when completed. :jaw: :nana: She SHOULD BE a little BEAST. I still have the suitai cdi, bando race coil, oko 24mm carb(i do believe the porting program says it'd need a 26mm carb. :dunno: ), a set of 15/42 gears(oem spec gears are suppose to be 13/45 w/intermintant @ 13/40),vented/performance clutch bell, new motorio clutch, "performance" fan(the fins are bigger-wider than the oem fan, whether or not they actually work :dunno: ).. About the only thing i MAY need is a contra spring or rollers I THINK since i didn't get many miles with the last parts.

If the stinger is that big, it should be just fine for the larger cc unless it's a really long stinger or something. LeoVince.Com (not LeoVinceUSA.Com) should have a drawing you could look up if you aren't sure. It pays to speak with them I see. Glad you are getting some extra base gaskets, just in case. HERE is a bunch of info on the durations. Stick with the 24mm carb for now and save a few bucks. Should be fine. I've got a 24mm Dell on T1's 103cc hitting up around 12,000RPM. It's not ideal according to calcs, but it works quite well still. I just tried a larger finned cooling fan on P90 and it made a substantial difference in temps. That info is in the P90 thread as well, under the Phase 3 Baseline post.

Hey brent. HOW do you know what the safety limit is on the angle of the rear shock? To much angle and a bump would break the shock type thing.. I'm trying to see if i would even NEED to add a shock mount for the extension. OR if i could just tilt the shock back that far.. :dunno: Thanks for any input on this brainfart i'm having
