Since Im running the original carb and plan on keeping the oil tank what Jet would you recommend? Im thinking at least a 95. Thats what I put on the piped and free flow air filter zumas I built. Seemed to work good but Brent had said something about using a smaller jet when he upgraded to his bbk.
If you didnt know this is my very first 2 stroke build.

Larger piston creates more vacuum and draws in more fuel. It worked on my mild big bore, but note that I also kept the original air box. I doubt it would work on more aggressive kits and I'm sure it wouldn't work with anything but the stock airbox.

Can you use a 10mm in a 12mm? Lucky for me my polini kit came in as 10mm.

Ok but how well do you think these will work? Good as stock? Scooter attacks parts description is almost as bad as MRP's.
I think Im gonna order a few extra of these if you guys ever need them.
Thanks again Brent!

They're meant to adapt high end cylinders that are more commonly made for 10mm to the 12mm, so I assume they work alright. You wouldn't want a junk bearing on something that revs sky high. Stage 6 has a good reputation and I wouldn't think they'd try to ruin it with a $20 part. I don't know how they actually work, but there's my thought process. I'd still prefer to avoid them and get the proper kit whenever possible.

Right, but good to know that they can be swapped. I was talking about a more aggressive top end for Skeedr someday (maybe this winter?), and my buddy asked if i would sell him my top end. I said if i did he would have to buy a new piston cause his is a 12.

Well the weather sucks around here so I had to work inbetween rain drops today. Not only that but I feel like total crap, stupid colds. Donor 2006 Eton Beemer Ill be swapping this front end over as well. Eton Motor out Ruckus Motor out See how similar they look. I cut the 2 stroke motor mount down a little to fit the stock ruckus mount. This fin will have to be trimmed a little. Bolted up. Not much room left up front but she fits. I think it looks good! Its about 2" off to the right but the shock is straight. Ill relocate the shock mount and align it better. This is just a rough draft. All in all I spent about a hour and a half today working on this. Now its time for a nap.

Centering everything up will be the fun part. I have to figure something out for the shock. That and move the engine over to the left as far as it will go and it should be close. No got to total rucks and see how much those guys just to mount up the engine let alone the wiring harness. Before they customize it

I like the way the Ruk looks but never really went that direction because of my strong 2t desire. This is bad ass! Good job Doc! I need that rear wheel or one like it, my rim is flat.

Well after doing some research and looking at the bank account hard. I think this is going to be my winter project. This and the drag race scooter. I just dont want to rush this project and end up with a unsatisfactory product. The main thing im looking at is a ncy stock ruckus extension bracket and front end conversion. Those parts get salty fast, not only that but the wiring on this thing is gonna take some time as I want to be able to teach it not only learn it.
I think rushing this project to be done before Oct 10th is a unrealistic target for a high quality build.
