I got a battery for my mic, so here are better specs for stock 10mm and 12mm wrist pin bearings... 12mm Wirst Pin O.D. 12mm Wrist Pin I.D. 12mm Wrist Pin Width 10mm Wrist Pin O.D. 10mm Wrist Pin I.D. 10mm Wrist Pin Width My 12mm stroker crank that doesn't appear to be 12mm. (I was getting larger measurements using a ruler because of the beveled edges.)

Thanks Brent. I had to reorder all of my polini kits thanks to Scooter-attack and their poor descriptions and catalog references. I got it figured out and I have some 12mm Polini kits on order. I am rethinking this project as well. May be going a bit bigger on the motor and pipe.

Got to tear into my donor Zuma and mount it in the Ruckus finally. No caddywompus bs either Break out the ol' eyeball here. Hmmmmm I recon I outa do a little choppin' right bout cheer. Ziiiiiiip Well loooooky there fit as a fiddle. The donor zuma was and still is disgusting. Look even some mice called this once prized scooter home. Well still need to swap over the harness, and figure out how to mount the zuma front end on here and then it will be time for tear down and final build.

Good to see progress on this one. Looks pretty straight-forward with those new machined mounts. Is that an off the shelf conversion or something you had made?

Good to see progress on this one. Looks pretty straight-forward with those new machined mounts. Is that an off the shelf conversion or something you had made? I just used the Ruckus engine extension brackets from NCY. enviromoto.ecrater.com/product.php?pid=4198660Mounting the Zuma front end will be more of a challenge than the motor mount was. I also have a black Doppler shock for it and some new tires. Other than deciding on what engine hop up parts its going to get, I plan on leaving most of it stock looking. That way when I destroy a unsuspecting victim they will be going.... ?WHAT WAS THAT? A STOCK RUCKuS???

I swapped out the Ruckus front end for the Zuma one. All I had to do is swap over the bottom bearing race and everything lined right up. Even the steering stem threads were they exact same pitch and everything. If it was much easier it would'nt have been any fun at all. The Zuma stem is a little longer but that wont be much of a issue. Its extremely fugly right now but its all broke down and in boxes waiting for me to order parts. I am on a pretty tight deadline and this will be my first "real" 2 stroke build. So I would like to get some input from you guys before I get much deeper. Im just going to rattle off my parts and upgrade list and you guys give me the thumbs up or down.. ok ? I want to keep it stock looking but you can tell right away something is different about it. List: NCY Zuma handlebar mount and MX Style Handlebars Stock Zuma wiring and controls Strip engine and powdercoat black Paint front fender black Doppler air shock black Polini crank bearings Crank undecided 70cc Sport kit Polini 12mm Polini Gears Stage 6 intake spacer 19mm Del Orto Stage 6 black Stage 6 choke cable Stage 6 free flow air filter Polini speed kit Polini clutch and bellimages OEM style tires LED lighting conversion (except the headlights) Mikuni fuel pump HP Coil and CDI Stock Stator Aftermarket Speedo undecided but I like the Koso ones I need to have this completed before the first week of February. Still debating on the crank, not looking to spend a lot of coin but since it has so many miles I am definitely replacing it. Here is the pipe I like, I know its not super fancy but I plan on riding the snot out of this thing. Anyone heard any results with this pipe?

Anyone heard any results with this pipe? www.zumaforums.net/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=10417If this thing is headed for display in a Polini booth, are they gonna help out with parts and do they expect you to be using a lot of Polini stuff? If so, maybe they can help you out with a crank, and you might wanna look for Polini alternatives to some of the other brand stuff. If not, I don't think you need some high dollar crank for the setup you're going with. I would say you could get a stock 90cc crank and get a few more cc, but the time and money may not be a great idea with added machine work, spacers, etc... plus you'd need a 16mm variator, a different flywheel, and I guess a different stator. One thing I haven't seen mentioned is oiling. I always suggest premix. I'd lose the whole injection system. Those Koso gauges are very pricey IIRC. You might wanna check out the Trail Tech Vapor. I know they are a lot more common, but the price should be quite a bit lower and they get good reviews.

PRE-MIX, PRE-MIX, PRE-MIX ! Ever since seeing the oil pump drive gear on the crank ! Good plastic though . I like the way these Ruks turn out with the Mina motors in em. Long, low, and ready to show and GO! I would think you would get more out of your motor with a tuned pipe. I guess it depends on what your after with this thing in the long run? If your worried about a tuned pipe being too loud try a Leo ZX with the silencer stuffed with FMF silencer packing . I packed mine with that stuff when i first got it and ended up taking half of it back out because it was too quiet.

The LeoVince GP is a tuned 2t pipe right? Polini is going to slap a pipe and some other stuff on it at the show but I really dont care if I get to keep it or not. Its definitely going pre-mix.
Sorry to disappoint but this is going to be pretty much a stock looking sleeper. I may go wild later on as I have more time but 70cc should give me all the power I need for next season.

The GP is still a tuned pipe. It'll probably work out pretty well with what you're doing. It does look kinda cool once installed too. From Leo's site... I'm guessing it's soemthing like D. Even though it looks like a flat end so it's just the header, diffuser, and belly, the stinger and convergent cone are probably still inside.
