I'm also running the Technigas Next-R (100cc) and have also used the Technigas RSII. Like Overse said, the Next-R is pretty torquey with it's long skinny design and has a nice wide powerband. Gets on the pipe at around like 5500 up to around 9000-9500 so pretty easy to use as a daily driver. The RSII had more of a pronounced "hit" but was pretty dead at lower revs. I actually liked the RSII better because of that hit but it didn't do well on my 100cc so I sold it off on a flip scoot. I did have two prebugs- one with a Leo Vince GP and one with a ZX. The GP is kinda like a stocker as it's not an expansion chamber so it was decent for wheelies but not much top speed. I feel like I don't remember much about that scoot with the Leo Vince ZX on it. So I guess that says something- the performance was "not memorable" haha. I've always thought the Leo Vince ZX/ZXR's looked like a better built pipe than the Next-R or RSII but the Technigas seemed to have better performance. It's really hard to say as all these were on all different kinds of scoots- 70cc's, 100cc, verticals, etc.
From what you described you said you were looking for the Next-R seems like a decent option but there's so many to choose from it's always hard to decide!

Not to try and jump in before Raizer gets back to you Tsimi, but on my 90 the next-r is pretty torquey down low with continuous acceleration all the way up to 60mph. It doesn't have that mule kick type powerband at a certain rpm. But, that's on my 54 hoca. Because of that I'm gonna try and put the next-r on my 70 this weekend. We don't have the same cylinders on our 70's but I can let you know how that goes. i run a technigas on my 90 also and agree with this. Good down low and pulls solid up to 60. around 7-10 k makes good power sorry, i am running the RS2 on my 90 and really like it.

Well Tsimi I can tell you three things. (1) The next-r produced the same down low torque and continuous acceleration on my 70 as it did on my 90. (2) My 90 now has no exhaust and probably won't for a while. (3) As soon as the battery charges I'm going back out to make a couple wot passes and depending on the results maybe a video for the HSL. Hands down Next-r is a quality made pipe for the price. NOTE: My next-r is the 100cc version. And I couldn't tell you if there is any difference between a regular next-r and the 100cc version of the next-r.

I'm in between either a new c16 or another next-r 100cc for my 90. C16 will need length added to the belly? According to 190mech. And I'm pretty content with the ride as is with the next-r. I just took another spin around the block and your not gonna believe me when I say this but the next-r still had power at 11000 rpms on the 70 corsa. I can tell the shorter belt and the stock variator are still holding it back. So what I'm thinking of doing is just ordering another next-r with a hoca variator and new belt for the price of a c16. Unless you can convince me otherwise on purchasing a c-16.. Tsimi. EDIT: to late already pulled the trigger 74.60€ from scooter-center the place I bought my first next-r from.

I see... so it is true what I read that the Tecnigas pipes are not so good quality compare to others and some of them break due to increased vibrations. That would explain the price of those pipes.

I was just out riding the 70cc for over an hour. Wot after Wot. I only hit 52mph. What a fun little scoot. 5-6mm left on my stock variator. I'm gonna say it again the "next-r still had power at 11,000 rpms". I don't know if it's the corsa or not. But anything after say 11,500 tends to feel like over revs. It's another animal on a 70cc. I wonder if nobody ever tested it on a higher reving bike before. Anyway, Like Niz said. On our 90's they start to over rev at 9500.

'O'Verse How much shipping did scooter-center charge you? I try to get an estimate but when I follow the checkout procedure I shows me "individual shipping costs after placing order" which is crap. I want to know the shipping cost before placing any order. Guess I'll have to write them an e-mail.

I want to know the shipping cost before placing any order. Guess I'll have to write them an e-mail. It's true. Because it's out of there country. They e-mail you with the shipping options. I've only been charged for the exhaust. I won't hear from them till tomorrow. The last one I ordered was shipped here to the states for $21. The total came out to right around $100-$105. When I went onto there site the pipe was 89.99€. As soon as I logged in the price dropped to 74.60€. I would register with them. I've only bought the previous next-r 100cc from them. So I couldn't tell you if that's why the price dropped. But, I can tell you it was the cheapest Next-r 100cc price around.

I see... I looked at their shipping & delivery conditions (link at the bottom) there it says for Japan 27 euros with the German post. And yes once you log in the sales tax of 19% gets deducted since "usually" no shop charges for sales tax on international orders. So all prices you see just calculate -19%.
So the Next-R is gonna cost me 73 euros plus 27 for shipping that is very reasonable.
