Just placed the order and paid only for the pipe thus far via PayPal. Curious to see how they handle this since they will have to send me another payment request for the shipping. Or they cancel the PP payment and resend me a new PP payment request including shipping. Anyways, weird shopping system they got there. What if shipping becomes more then those 27 euros? Can I still cancel without starting to get into trouble?

Japan is only 1000km farther in shipping distance so it shouldn't be that much more if any. Like I said before it'll probably come out too right around $105. It does take some time for the delivery to get here from Germany. My guess customs...

I am in no hurry at all. As long the pipe arrives in one piece I'm good.

'O'VerseThey just send me a payment request for 27 Euros for the shipping I guess, which I paid right away. So you basically pay in two separate PayPal payments. One payment only for the pipe and one for the shipping.

I thought I was not seeing right but when I checked the webike page today I saw Yasuni and Tecnigas pipes! Holy shit! Yasuni pipes in Japan!! And here I thought I am the only one owning one. Well, that was the great news. Bad news, as expected, crazy prices. Tecnigas Q-tre $150 Tecnigas Trek $200 Yasuni R carbon $430 Yasuni C16/07 aluminum $450 Yasuni C16/07 carbon $500 I don't know who is selling those pipes here but I could sell each at least $100 cheaper by paying retail price + shipping + import tax and I still would earn on them. Crazy world isn't it.

€430 is a total ripoff and just plain rediculous. Thats more than twice the price they cost over here!

spaz12 moofus02 was looking for gears for a Minarelli short case and somehow this got me veeeeery interested since it is one of few mods left to do on my red Jog. Now there are not many options besides Malossi primary gears, either 15/41 or 17/40 or was it 17/44?, and Polini secondary gears. I did some calculations and if I would use the Malossi 15/41 primary gears I should get a ratio of 8.8. Is that too low? (or do you call it high?) Can my red Jog pull that? What's the downside? Loss of take off power?

Loss of take off power? With the small tires these shortcase bikes run that gear should be fine. The short clones run 11:1 normally stock and the Honda guys get into the 6's on their tuned bikes. I got this vert jog motor to replace a chain drive razz motor. He replaced the jog with a pre bug Zuma motor because of crank and gear availability. Nothing is listed for the shortcase vert motors. I figured variated is better than chain drive and I've got clone and yamaha shortcase gears to compare to the vert. Niz measured a pre bug crank for me so I'll know if they fit also. The adly atv uses the same size axle as the jog and is 8.8:1 or so. If the clone gears fit that might be an option also
