Ya gotta bolt the pipe to the port flange(no gasket),snug, but not torqued,,do not attempt to attach the aft brackets till the headpipe flange is snug,,Then do what you have to to adapt the existing engine /pipe mount to the pipe tabs..Do not bend or force anything..If this is followed,a leak/crack free install will happen...

190mechThat is what I tried. First I connected the flange but didn't torque it down yet. Then I was checking if the bracket holes align with the case holes and they didn't. The bracket that came with it does look different from the videos and images that I have seen on the web. I don't force anything since I don't want to break anything especially not the cylinder. When connecting the flange, why no gasket? I forgot the gasket when I test mounted the yasuni and had a bit trouble later. 90GTVertOK, I guess its time to get my measuring tools then. 'O'VerseIt's just a Polini Sport cylinder and currently with the V8 revving max 9100 rpms.

No gasket is for fit up,,metal to metal gives a 'best fit' to check the aft mounting tabs,a gasket can be added after you correct the FUBAR tab placement..My buddy says"buying cheap, youve got a "kit" thats gotta be engineered and finished by you!"...

Looks like yours came with a different mounting bracket than mine did. It is the "100cc" one though...

Interesting to see your one came with a restrictor in it, mine didn't at all.
My Suzuki one almost bolted straight up, just had to clearance the mount that came with it to suit the later Suzuki engine.

niz76That is the mount bracket that you see all over but mine came with a different one. Well I guess I'll have to borrow some tools from the company and maybe I can grind/cut the current bracket to fit. I will post pics again once I got it properly mounted.

I had to space mine about an inch from the mounting holes on the block. Takes some tinkering but if its the correct pipe i will fit. Just remember the flange is most important

Here some images regarding that absolute stupid bracket that came with the pipe and some of the issues I have with it. As you can see, pointed by the red arrows that bracket has those f(censored), bended lips. Which prevents me to be more flexible. To be able to mount the pipe with that bracket I need to put that bracket in front of the pipe mounts. But those f(censored) lips prevent the bracket from sitting flush. (Image with red arrows pointing) Putting the bracket behind the welded brackets, which was probably intended, pushes the pipe too much and the bottom hole doesn't align anymore (red circle) plus it puts a bit of pressure on the flange area which is not very ideal. So I either find a way to grind those lips away or I build a bracket as shown in the last image. We have a disc grinder at the company that I might be able to borrow then I can modify that bracket and also paint it black since I don't like that color. IMO a bracket should be flat and not have bend lips or anything like that. Look at the Yasuni bracket that is called perfection and well thought system.

What if you flipped it around. And the lips faced outward. Would that do you any good? I went back and looked on there website. The pic of the next-r shows the other style bracket. I don't know why they would change something if it was working so well.. No EDIT: package says it's being prepared for delivery. Once I get mine I will fab something up.

Well brotha Tsimi. New bracket took two tries. And I think I got it for us. At first I installed the spacer on the pipe side of the bracket and quickly learned it goes on the bottom of the case side. No fabrication needed. Fit perfectly. Hopefully the pic helps. Might have to zoom in.

Tsimi, hog that bottom hole out,or redrill to make it fit..Cutting off the flange will make the bracket as weak as a spagetti noodle(cooked!)

I can extend that hole that doesn't align but that would not be the only issue. If I mount the bracket as overse did, as they actually intended, the flange holes don't align anymore or if I connect the flange first it puts some pressure on it since the bracket pushes the pipe outward a bit. Maybe I can try to bend that welded bracket a bit and extend the hole with a file? We'll give it another go. 'O'VerseFirst, WTF!? Why does your pipe have no restrictor? Why the hell does it fit with that bracket? Did you adjust/extend the holes or something? And man that outer box looks like somebody played soccer with it. Is your pipe for 50/70cc minarelli horizontal? 190mechYou think the bracket will become weak if I grind those lips away? The bracket seems to be sturdy and quite thick though.

What if you flipped it around. And the lips faced outward. Would that do you any good? Nope, that doesn't work, tried already. The bracket is not a perfect triangle. The bottom hole and the upper hole are off by 5mm at least.
