The exhaust angle and the body line up perfectly. Gonna need a new family portrait of your scoots in the "Meet the Family" thread.

Did you mount the tires yourself?

Did you mount the tires yourself? No, the local bike shop did it for $15. I don't own an air compressor nor the tools to change tires.

Just finished my first test drive. Pipe impression, the sound is deeper than the Yasuni. Not so high pitched *ping ping ping...* more like a stock pipe sound. I need to adjust the roller weights a bit maybe from 3x5+3x4,5 to 6x4,5? She has a bit more punch at the bottom now and pulls better at WOT. The washers inside the front wheel seem to do a good job. Even at WOT no problems thus far. I will try to find a colar or washers with 10x16 dimension for perfect fitting.

Changed the roller weights (6x4,5g) and went for another test drive. Now it is really fun to drive. Nice response, torque and speed. Definitely an improvement over the V8 pipe. I might be running still a bit rich at WOT but that I can adjust another time. One thing that bugs me a bit is the pipe sound. It sounds more like a 4T than a 2T. During my test drive I went to visit the bike shop that gave me the white Jog ZR wheels and hoped that the speedometer gear would still be there. And...YES he still had it and gave it to me, for free again! Look at that inner colar how far that comes out. Jogs with 3 spoke wheels that colar is flat. All problems are solved now.

Very glad you like the pipe. Not to bad for a $100.

I know most of you guys probably won't care since you don't have those stupid speedometer gear issues like I have but to just have a complete record in the www and forum here a comparison image of a Jog (3 spoke wheel) and a Jog ZR (5 spoke wheel). Left normal 3 spoke wheel speedo gear / right Jog ZR 5 spoke wheel speedo gearThe silver colar in the middle (or what ever that is called) is 1.5mm on the left speedo gear and 8.5mm on the right speedo gear. So my temporary solution, adding a total of 7mm washers (5x 1.4mm) was spot on.

3rd day of driving since I put on the white wheels and Next-R on the scooter. Arrived at my working place and saw this. Not a big deal, sure but it should not happen. My Yasuni pipe vibrates at least 10 times more and I never lost anything there and believe me I tight things very strong. Anyways, replaced it with a washer, spring washer and new nut, all stainless steel.

Solid mount pipes transmit vibes throughout,so stuff loosens, falls off, cracks, etc,,,Slip fit/rubber mount pipes just ride the vibe tide and are happy to give thrills every day!!

Have you done a top speed run on this scoot yet? Just wondering what she is capable of? I always seem to ride things to their limit and break them My jog 90 sure was ripping on the way home today!

nelsonNo not yet but I will as soon those stupid, rainy days are over. In the early morning it was not raining but I missed the opportunety to do a GPS run. Now just 1 hour later it is raining cats and dogs. If I would have to guess I would say the scoot reaches around 70km/h with the current CVT setup. I added an extra washer to the drive boss for better take off at the cost of top speed. I do have one more variator but I am using its front face on the Polini Evo variator right now. As soon I get a Polini front face I'll swap things again and then I should see speeds beyond 70km/h.

nelson Did that speed run today. No down hill no up hill just a long straight flat road. As I guessed 71km/h (44mph) at 9400rpm was max. In comparison to my V8 pipe I was maxing out at 65km/h (40mph) at 9000-9200rpm. I am 100% sure if I swap the variator to my aftermarket one I can get at least another 5km/h (3mph) if not more. So the Next-R was definitely worth those 100 bucks.
