This is my ebay tach $25 replaceable battery and back lit. Hers is where I got it- ebay.com/itm/281569090568 Most of the noise is the open filter, the silencer works very well.

Great work Ryan!Good to see free thinking folk here..Keep us posted on your build, hope to see it in the 'speed trials thread' soon!! I've been inspired by you..LOL. It's not registered so I can't take it to far yet but just going to the next neighborhood down the road, about 6-900 feet I gps'd at 52 @11400 untuned extremely rich. I think there is great potential.

Thanks for the kind words.
Any tips on keeping the pipe from rusting? It's raw metal no finish, I would like to keep it that way as the clear darkens over time I just don't want it to rust.
I'm going to get it registered this weekend and get some tuning done. So I can get on some roads to let it stretch it's legs. I'll keep everyone updated.

If it all looks good the whole pipe is welded up. Its real ugly after that!I use Permatex Rust Dissolver Gel,a scotchbrite pad and hot water to get it clean, then dry and heat up the pipe and apply 2 coats of Mop-N-Glo floor polish(No Kidding!) and this is what it looks like; The floor polish will change colors, but it can be cleaned off and reapplied.

I got my pipe 100% sealed up and got my carb tuned pretty close, still rich as my driveway is coated in oil. I had to make a different support for the silencer because it keep cracking. Maybe I'll post the specs of the pipe. I have 142/45 in it now. I got it registered and went for a drive last night 58 still more in it. Front end has a vibration I need to figure out. Still need to work on the trans some clutch is slipping but I have a clutch from a Aprilla SR50 I'm going to see if it will fit. If not I'll order one.

Here are the specs of my pipe... I think the flange to piston was 35mm I can't remember, I'll edit next time I pull it. What tempuratures are melt down high? I'm using a spark plug temp gauge and I've seen as high as 375.

I think you should be able to get more mph out of the bike. that pipe is crazy!! I dig it, maybe ot works good with your setup maybe it does not but you built by yourself and thats a lot! I am at 63 mph with my jog so I bet u have a bit more.
