Pretty rev happy for a 103cc. Nice speed. You built the pipe? Is it happy up there or does it pull harder at lower rpm?

Sent from my SPH-L720 using proboards It's the pipe I built, it is working pretty well. This combo of pipe and cylinder will pull hard from 30 to top speed. When I'm at say 45 I can cruise there at like 1/8 throttle. The exhaust is actually quieter than my uni filter.

Just wanted to share what I've been using for leak free exhaust gaskets. They are actually for onan generators and fit perfectly between the studs with a ID of right around 30mm and one side has adhesive. Onan part # is 154-2805

Thanks for sharing. Exhaust leaks rob performance!

They are fairly thin too so you don't need to worry about warping the pipe flange, the adhesive side makes it nice to install. They are only a few dollars if you have a RV, camp ground or generator service company nearby they would probably have them in stock. I had about 20 on my truck.

I found out what happens when you don't check drive boss length and forget the washer on the star.... Belt shredder After shortening my pipe and the weather warming up the scoot started running lean. It would idle fine when cold but after it warmed up when I would come to a stop it would idle at like 25-2700 rpm. Did a leak test and found no leaks. I wound up having to up my pilot from a 46 to a 52 to not have a white plug. When I cruise at 45-50 I'm only at 1/8-1/4 throttle so I'm not really using my main. Maybe it's because I'm on the pipe the whole time now. Idk.Would I benifit from a smaller carb? I'm running a keihin pwk 28mm now.

Are the splines on the crank ok? That is a lot of carb for the setup. I think you'd have an easier time with a 21mm phbg.

Cranks fine, outer pulley not so much. I'm just running the stock outer with the stage6 for now it still performs well. I'm thinking about a 21mm I just don't know if I'll have the same throttle response. I've only ever run bigger keihin carbs.
