So I'm having a lil issue now I've installed the conta spring last week and my top end speed slowed down about 5mph thought it may have been from having the stock rollers so I got a new variator and 6g rollers now it's seems as if it won't go into final gear? I'm stuck now and don't know where to go next

Stiff contra springs can do that. Sometimes heavier rollers/sliders fix it and sometimes they don't.

Well that sucks but I do have some 8g the thing that gets me is it was running fine till yesterday. it was shifting so to speak and was running fine and all of a sudden it went to sh!t.

Would it be better to go back to stock spring or try the 8g rollers?

If the stock contra spring worked without vibration and lack of speed you can go that route. You may want to see if there's coil bind with the aftermarket spring (coils are touching when the pulley compresses the spring.

There wasn't any binding and I had great acceleration but lacked top speed and revs seemed a bit high

Just an update I went back to the stock vari and both 1500 springs with the 6g rollers. Haven't got to test it really since I'm pretty sure there's something broke in my clutch hopefully get to look at it tomorrow.
