Make sure you flush the crankcase out really well when you're done grinding.

Make sure you flush the crankcase out really well when you're done grinding. Any suggestions other than a case boring tool? Or tips on using a dremel. I had a rag down in it for the lil bit I did

Stuffing the cases is a good idea to avoid some of the particles, but still if you look at the pics you can see glitter in there. Putting something over or in any passages wouldn't be a bad idea either. Even if you can't see anything, flush it. Kerosene, diesel, and brake cleaner are all popular choices.
The Dremel should be pretty straight forward, just take your time. You'll probably want to avoid fast cutting tools like carbide burrs and stick to sanding, unless there's a lot more that needs to be removed than I'd think... but there's not really room for a whole lot of material removal. You can probably put the cylinder over the studs and make a mark around it with a fine point Sharpie so you can see what needs to be removed. Just remember to stay inside of that line. Other option is try to remove a little at a time as evenly as you can and check over and over till it fits.
