I checked it out, definitely digging the air ride. I've been wondering if its possible and that site really makes it easy. I'll add that as the to do list of future mods

Haven't been able to do much with the scooter lately. Combination of bad weather and having to replace the power steering system in my car. Think I might just get a few tools finish up the scooter and sell it. Got someone wanting to trade for a tomos lx plus cash and I've found a Honda pcx 150 and a suzuki 650 burgman. They're both at a copart salvage but from what i can tell plastic missing seems to be the only problems.

The Tomos mopeds can be pretty fun if you still want a 49cc model. Not gonna compare to the capabilities of the PCX or Burgman though. Let us know what you do either way.

I like cafe racer style of the tomos. O talked to the guy and supposedly he already installed the airsal bbk but he said it needs some work. Been doing doing research on the pcx and its a pretty slick ride. It has very clean lines and with a few mods it can easily reach highway speeds. The burgman on the other had is huge but with a 650cc motor not much is needed performance wise. I just don't like the fairings. I did a little research and the naked look for a burgman isn't that bad. If I go with that I'll probably give it a street fighter look. Only time will tell until I decide to sale the maddog

Finally clear days. Got everything fixed as far as the new heat gasket and new blot for the cam chain tensioner. I plan on taking it for a spin today

I just can't get this thing to crank. Checked the valves they're set to .004, new battery with 180 cca, I'm lost. Could it possibly need an extra gasket for clearance. I've been able to crank it beforehand so I'm confused. I have noticed a slight stall before turning over when starting.....any advice is much appreciated

Back to working in the scooter, as of since my last post. I've done nothing more than changing the main jet to #100, fresh oil and gas, I took the intake tube off the carb and attached the K&N style cone filter directly to the carb. Still nothing, starts fine just doesn't crank. Not sure what to do, think I may just go back to 50cc and install a new piston or something. Then just tune the carb and variator. I at least want to be able to ride during football season. I live in the home of UGA football and traffic is crazy here. This would be my best way to get around the easiest.
If anyone has any suggestions I'm all ears. The only thing I haven't replaced is the starter and trying anotherb spark plug.
