Well fellas guess it time to start a build thread so I can keep all my info in one place since I'm sure I'll be asking lots of questions. This is a 2008 adly panther that a friend of mine had he paid $800 for it last yr and it never ran properly so he took it apart and tried to work on it himself needless to say he didn't fix it and it was left in pieces. He knew I blew up my 4t scoot told me I could have this one if I wanted it he wanted it out of his way and out his shed so the next day I drove about 20 min to pick it up and well here we are I've put it all back together to make sure I had all the parts and plastics and there all there and even in great shape for something that's been apart for 6 months and was Free. Well now it's sitting on my front porch back in pieces again. So far I have flushed the gas tank and put some gas in it. Corrected the fuel lines since they were all ran straight from tank to carb and even had a splitter so that fuel was goin into the carb from the vacuum (I guess that's what it is). tried to crank it a few times and nothing so today I tried to check for fire again,And nothing. Pulled plug it was black as hell and I could see there was water on it so I pulled the carb and in middle of cleaning it out now until I go get a new plug.so that's it so far!

How it looked when I pick it up   I'd say she was running a tad bit rich  And yep there was some water in the carb  Not sure what this is but it can't be good  Well thats everything so far more updates to come and pics too!!! Any feed back helps also so let me know if I'm posting enough/too many pics or info |

When are folks gonna learn,,They dont run on water!!! Haha, when I got my scoot, I cleaned the oil tank out because I noticed there was another substance that was mixing with oil, that looked like water. That substance is still unknown but shit, they call it an oil tank & gas tank for a reason |

Well been working on this thing all day put a plug in it fired right up but wouldn't idle after tinkering for a few I took the card back apart cleaned it once again found the problem at the bottom of where the idle jet sits was still completely clogged got a piece of wire pushed it through and sprayed it all out again for good measure put it back together and voila.. So I looked around the shop and found a used pipe and put it on crunk it up adjusted the idle right. Put all the body back on and drove to the house (like 2 blocks away) let it stay running while I heated up some left over pizza and I hear it shut off I go and turn the switch off eat and go to crank back up and nothing it acts like it wants to it'll crank but then just die right out so pushed it back to the shop and trying to figure out where to go from here

I guess I see what y'all mean when you say "hit the pipe" I swear I just did like 50mph down main st which is 35mph speedo said similar but honestly wasn't paying much attn gonna reset the app and see what i get omw home aproximatly 2m in a 35 zone lol hope I don't get pulled

OK so this thing was running great until I had to put some gas in it. It would crank right up but when I hit throttle it wouldn't rev it just die down what would cause this. Maybe wrong oil/gas mixture?

Clogged jet. It possible you stirred up some crap in the tank that now is in the carb. I'd start with cleaning the entire fuel system.
