Might be a tad rich. What size carb and main jet u running? If you haven't already- you can try removing the snorkel from the airbox and see if it gets better... just an idea for ya! If I remember correctly it's a 75 mj and 17.5 pilot and the air box is hooked up but it doesn't rev up right on the stand with it unhooked or at didn't at first I'll try again

Man it seems to be one thing after another with this thing as I was out an about enjoying the weather and getting the last scoot tag on my way back home it started running like crap would barely go and got really loud and had a vibration so I pulled over and pushed it home. Any ideas? It's so nice out today I'm not gone even mess with it and let it ruin my day.

I'd look for the source of the noise. Start with the exhaust, intake, cvt, head and cylinder.

Seems to be coming from the head cause when it first started I had thought I'd rattled the exhaust bolts loose/out i was goin up a slight hill so didn't notice the loss of power till it flattened out and came to a red light and it wanted to shut off then took off like a snail and I noticed the noise got a lil worse and that's when I just decided to push it since I was less than a mile from home and scared I'd do more damage than already done. Note I still haven't looked it over yet but plan on doing that tomorrow

Well looky looky what we have here. Finally got around to taking a look at this thing and I have a surprise oh and looks like my problem was a blown head gasket

Been a while since I've updated this thread.. been driving this thing as my primary scoot. It still has bad lag on take off like it shifts way to early or something. And having hard time finding a belt the correct size. Anyways had a buddy give me some left over parts from Ghanahis old bike. So figured I'd toss them on. Not noticing much difference on take off but lost top end maybe 5-7mph

New intake Old intake put the larger reeds in Also tried an open filter but quickly removed it it has an 85mj couldn't read the pilot size thoughts and opinions thinking of putting old intake back on just for clearance reasons with carb I keep rubbing holes in fuel line

I wouldn't use that huge intake unless I was using a big carb. I use a stock intake even with 21mm DellOrto carbs.

The reed should be alright. I just don't see the point of a small carb opening up right into a huge intake, especially when it causes fitment trouble.

Got the variator on today and man this thing is screaming maybe a lil too much but hard to tell since I don't have a tach. But it hits 40mph in no time at all haven't got a chance to wind it all the way out yet. But I'm very happy with it not sure if it was the new lighter rollers the vari or both but it gets up and moves. Also noticed that it has a 1000 torque spring in it. Only complaint I have is the first like 3-5 sec of take off are at a snail's pace so guess I'm on the hunt for some clutch springs what rpm should I get 1500? Or 2000? Was also looking on partsforscooters and didn't have much choice
