Nice ride, looked like a great time. All those other guys to ride with, I would be trying to tune every week to beat someone a bit faster than me until I could get everyone! Thanks for the vid!

I don't know If I could beat the 120cc honda elites with my 103. I think the old saying rings true, "There is no replacement for displacement". Unless of course I go to a Team Cristofolini or 2fast4race cylinder. Although, I've been eyeballing a 180cc 2t block on fleabay after getting beat on my video. I'd have to weld up some motor mounts and brackets to make it work as it is a bottom mount block. We'll see…

I ride a 54mm x 43.5 mina I the same rpm as you. I wonder how much rpm is a factor? Obviously if you run a higher rpm with the same cc you will make more power up top. My bike is pretty quick but I am building a high rpm 70 and hoping to be able to blast my 100cc. Hope it's not a disappointment... As for work the 180cc, would be a great side project!

You said it's a Kundo F1/PG hybrid. Bu remember, that Kundo F1 (I have one) is a high end 14000rpm 70cc pipe...not a 9-10K rpm 100cc pipe. So you'd probably win huge torque by putting on a pipe thats matched to you engine. This one is very very short, you'll need something longer with less steep cones.

The header is 31mm and it only gets bigger from there. It would be hard to give up that pipe after i put so much work into it, and it does run really well, just not faster than a 120cc. But, If I could beat he 120 with a another pipe, it'd be worth changing… So… what are some good exhaust for my bike? 103cc and all.

Personally I don't know any good pipes for these engines (minarelli 90-110cc). You want something that revs somewhere between 8-11k rpms(?) Not below and not beyond. Thats outside of the engines effective power range. Maybe you can ask John (190mech) to make you one?

I hit 64 with stock td and hoca cvt. I think had I tuned my mhr pulley or invested in more rollers I could get 70+. The mid range reminds me of getting your arms ripped off

I had nothing but issues with my mhr cvt set up. I only went up to 6.5 grams on the weights. It would pull hard to about 40 and then it would stop pulling. Would have to let off throttle and nail it again , was like it would get hung up. Now I just run hoca cut and stock td. It runs hard right up to 60-65 mph. I am saving the mhr pulley for my lc build. After seeing this it's tempting to put the mhr back on and get some heavier rollers. That is about the best scenery on earth to be cruising! And cruising with your dad, doesn't get any better Got to have a soft torque spring. The stage6 pink one is working out for me. With just a slightly stiffer spring the variator would only open half way. What weights are you running on your sliders?

What weights are you running on your sliders? 7.5 all around. I'm thinking of lightening my weights too. When the belt wasn't getting full travel, about 1/4 inch from all the way out, I was hitting between 10k and 10.5K. I'll play with that after I lower my compression.
