That's how it usually works. You have a pile of parts and some $0.10-$10 item will prevent any progress.

Tapped it on slowly with a small socket wrench and a hammer. I'll see if I can put it together on monday. I'm gonna use just bearings and no cage.

Got some work done today. Mounted the Metro tree and dio disc brake set up. The 200mm rotor wouldn't work. The caliper was to big to fit inside the rim Luckily my Scooter Guru had a 160mm rotor that worked perfect with the stock Dio caliper adapter. It doesn't look as cool but it will get me going. Rotor lined up perfectly with the top of the pads(in blue)

I pulled the bike out today and noticed a scraping sound. I thought it was the rotor on the pads, but upon further inspection, I noticed this The brake pad was scraping on the hub of the rim. WTH!

I bought Honda Dio front rim, Dio caliper, Dio forks, and used stock size rotor from a SYM DD50 ( which is the same as a Honda Dio). So of course they don't fit right. So, I ground down the metal part of the pad, right up to the pad, and it made clearance, by like 1mm. I'll have to pay attention to it when I ride, after it heats up. Down the road I'll try a larger rotor, with adapter, for better clearance. This should work for now, I might have to grind down the other pad too. I'll see after I get the brake system filled and bled.
